The Skye Boat Song (Outlander theme) | Harpist: Kristan Toczko

"The Skye Boat Song" is a late 19th-century Scottish song recalling the journey of Prince Charles Edward Stuart ("Bonnie Prince Charlie") from Benbecula to the Isle of Skye as he evaded capture by government troops after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746. It's also commonly known today as the main theme to the tv show Outlander. 😊 This arrangement is in the grade 4 repertoire for the RCM Harp program, which is the method I was taught harp with and it is what I use for my students today!
