- In this South Park video we look at the timeline of Eric Cartman. From the creators of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, we look at Cartman's entire life story, his past and future. I've put Cartman's life in chronological order, from season 1 to South Park season 25. I also look at the latest South Park specials on Paramount+.
We also look at the funniest South Park moments from Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle and Butters. As well as other characters from South Park.

1:32 one point of clarification, the “reveal” is that Cartman’s mother is in fact his biological father. The question then becomes who his biological mother is, but fortunately the future episodes come along and helps to clean this up.
In all honesty I felt happy for future cartman who finally got his shit together and wanted to protect his family I mean yeah he is a psychotic sociopath but im proud how much he grew and sacrificed his family for a better future, I feel bad my man's Eric

I'm honestly shocked you didn't bring up the Casa Bonita episode. It was an episode that really showed the lengths that Cartman would go to get anything he wanted, It was honestly a shock and made me even look inward at my own desires and how far I would go to achieve them!!

I don't watch South Park, but they did Cartman dirty in the end. They took away his family. I mean, they could have let him have them back with his two oldest being young and the baby on the way so he'd technically have them all but nope

I particularly like how you address Cartman's relationships with his friends as soon as they became relevant or where brought up, with no stone unturned in terms of deeper meaning and reasoning. In this case you truly have respected Eric Cartman's authoritah! You should also cover Cartman's most heinous crimes ever, as while other channels have, I know you would by far make the best and most accurate rendition, as you yourself have some very respectable authoritah!

there's a big debate between people who think cartman deserved the homeless ending and people who liked seeing cartman as a stand-up guy. the way I see it, he absolutely deserved the homeless ending, but his children and wife didn't. they were perfectly fine people whose lives are now way worse or nonexistent because of cartman becoming homeless.

Yeah he shaped up before meeting yentl, he probably shaped up immediately after getting away from Kyle and stan, as their futures truly show how toxic they are, mostly Kyle as Stan at least had an excuse, behind cartman his upbringing was pretty unfortunate thanks to Randy being a horrible father

Aw sweet thxs Lydia. Cartman is interesting as a character because of his personality, unlike the others he's been pretty much the same. He's a scheming Jewish hating kid who despite his moments of evil, he's done some good. He saved Kyle from the Smug storm , performed cpr on him during the imagination land arc, got token a girlfriend, and of course as Lydia said, shaped up after 40 years and became a family man and part of Jewish culture. He may not be perfect but he's not exactly that bad either

Although in general I think that doing South Park timelines is a bit strange because unlike other series that show moments from the future it is not a development in South Park, so now that having the movies it makes more sense ...

You forgot the other two future versions of Cartman that appeared on the show. For all we know, the current future Cartman either was or will be a plumber. Or perhaps that was his previous Rabbi version.

It’s funny because I was talking to my friend about the post covid episodes and he said how Cartman’s life was more better for him in the future since he found religion and a family, in comparison to everybody else was ether living average or terrible lives.

You missed the fact that Cartman technically was Jewish before the timeskip. He technically converts at the end of the episode, Jewpacabra. Moreover, he and Kyle later help the migrant children escape an ICE detention facility by mass-converting everyone there to Judaism. That's the point at which Cartman's Judaism becomes official. So Cartman becoming a Rabbi after 40 years isn't actually that much of a leap, IMHO.

I like to think that there is a third timeline because the show does not Feature in the events of the games the new kid can get the established Southpark characters to come together and in some cases do things they would not ordinary do so maybe in this third timeline it's a compromise and everyone will get a happy ending

People say its heart breaking that Cartman lost his family but in reality its just karma.
Because no matter what messed up shit he does he never learns from his mistakes or when he's put in his place like when Wendy beat him up or when God struck him with a bolt of lightning.
So him ending up as a homeless acholic was just Karma especially for all the innocent people he killed before covid.

Cartman's two futures show what happens when an obnoxious, rude, bigoted brat who has been coddled since birth changes his behaviour Vs when he doesn't. Being homeless and having your life crumble is, of course, horrible, but the show's message is clearly that karma had it out for Cartman, and since in the alternate timeline he doesn't change his behaviour, you could argue it was deserved.
In saying that, the original timeline shows a changed man who really is better than his childhood self, although Kyle's skepticism/paranoia is justified.

I cried my eyes out seeing Cartman after the future got fixed. Knowing that there’s a world where he did change for the better
Cartmans dad probably left liane when he was really young, which could explain why he probably doesnt remember him.
