Its actually the opposite bro. Roberto Carlos was a shutdown left back that can play offensively if needed be, rocket for a left foot. Marcelo is an exceptional defender, with magician type offensive skills that are godly.... Roberto Carlos is the better defender, but Marcelo all around is probably a better player. No doubt.

You can talk Ramos all day long but Marcelo, I mean he is a great baller a wonderful one. He is very skillful, good at attacking, assists and goals but when you need him as a defender, he is there.
