    I have missed you greatly, Will. Please do more Disc Golf Stuff(TM).
    It's so strange to see you putting left-handed, but it is buttery smooth compared to your old RH putt-with-a-hitch.
    Best wishes to you, Mr. Schusterick!

    Always looking for anything to get that late sneaky drift around some trees & into the chains!
    Do you notice any added stability from the Fractal blend compared to base 300 blend?

    Its like a bit shorter understable midrange, just like the =K= Stig is a longer understable midrange. I like it but its almost to stable thrown soft... for now I keep a 154g Ruby in its slot, very easy for tricky situations. The PA-5 is a great disc! Putting with the PA-3, throwing it some as well. Are you still using the PX-3 for throwing?

      The Pa5 is great for soft shots. Nearly zero fade. Try it!

      @@WillSchusterick My "The Cub" PA-5 is pretty stable flying not giving it +150' power. But I am for sure taking it out throwing now and then comparing flights. The only way for me to really know if my discs are getting "flippy" on me :P
      On a 250' its a bit touchy with my form and a A3 forehand or an understable mid backhand gets the benefit for consistency, but for sure its a GREAT disc! =)

    How would you compare the Pa5 to the Pa4? I currently putt with the Pa4 but the Pa5 looks even more understable?

    • @WillSchusterick
      @WillSchusterick  Před 3 měsíci

      Correct. I would also say a thinner nose compared to the Pa4

      Pa-5 is a bit less stable in my opinion. I think of it like the F7 of putters

    The naming scheme is bunk. It's the main reason prodigy isn't bigger. People want wraiths, not f7s

      @@WillSchusterick I mean live and let live is good and all but you're running a business and I cannot remember the last person I talked to that like the naming scheme and I've met so many people that hated it. There's no way it's helping you

      I love the naming system. Keep it up yall

    • @xanderwebb7998

      I also love the naming system. Gives a great look into how it’ll fly and it’s very utilitarian. Easy to know which discs to grab even if you just got it

    • @samhowl1152
      @samhowl1152 Před 2 měsíci

      @@xanderwebb7998 it's great that you feel that way but ask people, most people do not enjoy the naming scheme. That's why every other major brand has a similar naming scheme and no one else does it like prodigy. People don't like utilitarian stuff. They want choices/options and cool names. Hell just ask a random people that don't actually play disc golf. Say to them:
      You have two choices between a disc, which one are you choosing? Once it's called a destroyer and one is called... An f7.
      It's a pretty certain bet that most people would choose the destroyer

  • @samhowl1152
    @samhowl1152 Před 3 měsíci

    Unfortunately the naming scheme prodigy chose continues to hold it back. It's very utilitarian and not fun.
    People want discs like destroyers, wraiths, sidewinder, starship
    All the possibilities in the world and someone really said, "let's just take the flight numbers and combine that with the type of disc it is and bam all the names are already figured out."
    Everyone shaking their head in the meeting: "yes,yes, great idea sir."
    Well no, bad idea. I can never even remember if 1 is more stable or 7.

    • @WillSchusterick
      @WillSchusterick  Před 3 měsíci +2

      So you know the 4 flight numbers but not the 1 in the disc name. Got it.
