Making your sauce in my restaurant kitchen in portugal. Its a success. All my clients are big fans. Me and kitchen staff too. Tanks man. Keep strong.
and be sure to save the pulp you strained out, dry it then mix it with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and other seasonings like lemon zest, dried ginger or cinnamon (or what ever flavors you enjoy) and make a spice blend that is great on EVERYTHING!
Right on! Do you use like a dehydrator or just let it sit out? Seems like it'd take a while to dry..
@@cassondralynch6342 interested too did u find out?
@@nickname9772 I didn't.. do you have an air fryer? I got one recently and was surprised to see it has a dehydration setting. I may try that. Interesting idea though. Good luck if you try :)
@@cassondralynch6342 Just spread it all out evenly on a cookie sheet and put it in your oven at its lowest temperature setting for a while, if nothing else. You can always get away with doing it that way.
That was a pro tip of note! Thanks. I'm definitely going to try that
Man, this guy looks so friendly and cool, made this video so great lol

Ya he has this Seth Rogen long lost bro vibe : ) , would have a brew or 2 with!

I keep getting E-Girl TikTok ads..
@@Bandi582 Yep. Ditto now.
I woke up this morning and randomly said I’m going to make my own hot sauce, and there you were lol. Thanks for giving me a great starting point!
Lol i just did that. Went out and spent $70 hope I can make a couple bottles lolol
My pepper crop was amazing this season. I didn't want a lot of it go to waste that's why I'm here. Easy great hot sauce recipe and easy to understand.
You did a great job and you kept it simple. I've been growing on average 25 varieties of different Chili Peppers over the last couple of decades and making salsa and hot sauce. Your method is so straightforward and anybody can follow it and create their own taste profile. I also like how you didn't lean too heavily on salt.
I had never thought about making my own hot sauce until now!
Cheers bud, followed what you said, made a few changes of my own, came out absolutely amazing!
Awesome recipe, very easy to follow.i just bottled mine now, awesome taste.thank you so much
I just made some killer salsa this past week. I have peppers going crazy in my garden right now, it looks like a pepper bush! Thanks for the video, I've always wanted to make some hot sauce and now I will.
I tried this recipe with ripe red jalapeños and apple cider vinegar it came out great! The puree didn't want to sieve through the mesh strainer so I bottled it straight up. Thanks for making this video!
I'm going to use this process to make a vinegar based jalapeno/lime/tomatillo/garlic hit sauce.
I'm also going to make this recipe exactly.
And I'm going to also use this and add a ghost pepper and a habanero and experiment.
This looks so simple and awesome! Thanks man.
Thanks for the recipe! I am making mine right now with cherry peppers. I can't wait to taste it!
just a hello and thank you!!! I made hot sauce for the first time today and it was amazing. with your help and video I am so happy with the out come. I make it out on the front porch because of the strong smell.. but wow is it ever good. I used peppers from our garden and added some pineapple.. thanks again..
Well, just followed this recipe with some hot banana peppers that i let fully ripen on the vine. 1st taste was great! I'm excited to see how it turns out after a couple weeks. Tks for the vid!!! Great job!
watched many how to make hot sauce videos, but this video is where I am starting my new hobby . thanks Mark.
This is a great idea. I have three different sizes of mini metal funnels I use to pour hot sauce from a big jug into regular hot sauce bottles. They work great.

Wow!!! It Looks Amazing 👌❤
Awesome thank you
Good job my man just made 2 bottles Carolina reaper, Serrano, habanero, yellow chilie, seasonings amazing on point
I smoked my chilies and then did exactly what you did and it turned out amazing
I had a bottle of El Yucateco Verde (green) habanero hot sauce. I was getting used to it. I mixed Tobasco brand pepper sauce and it stepped it up for sure. 🤪🌶️🔥
That looks so good
That was great!
Thanks for this
Going to try this.
Great video! Love your editing.
Thank you so much!!!
Good vid. Got to try this.
Thanks so much mate
Wow Thanks I have A lot of Peppers this year Will Try This !
Nice im going to try that this week
I just made my second batch. My first was same as this but I used Jalapeños Serrano and 1 habanero. It was good but not very hot. Today i used about 15 habaneros, some sweet banana peppers, cherry tomatoes and sweet red peppers. It’s good but still not hot enough? Maybe it needs to sit overnight or 2 weeks like you said. I didn’t wear gloves and my hands have been on fire for over 5 hours. No worries, lesson learned haha. Thanks for the inspiration
Exactly what I was looking for, great video, nice and concise, didn't waste time. I like the thickness, and I like seeds in my hot sauce, so I'm thinking I would just skip the strainer part, would that be right? Also, if I wanted to add for example a fruit, at what stage would I do that? Thanks for the video!
Seriously, going to try my hand. I love a good green hot sauce.
THIS GUY IS THE BEST ❤❤
Great video man!
Can’t wait to start making some.
This guy is awesome. Keep it up. God bless
Definitely going to try this now
Boom thats sawesome! Let me know when you make it!

Thanks a lot bro 👍
So I've been to Avery Island twice in the last six months just to see all the tabasco stuff. I love Tabasco products and I'm fascinated by the cooking process. I'm surprised that I've never tried making my own hot sauce. I'm inspired after watching this lol I want something so hot it blows my face off
I am secretly obsessed with tabasco too!! Ive always wanted to go to Avery Island and see how they do it! I really should soon!! Please let me know when you make a sauce! I would love to hear about it!
I love your ricipes
Still my fav recipe. I use this a lot especially with jalapeño hot sauce
Awesome 💯
Love the vids brother. Proud of ya. Keep it up!
Thanks man
I made hot sauce for the first time this year. I had way to many red ripe jalapeno peppers in my garden to let them go to waste. First I fermented them with garlic cloves and mangoes like you would do when making sauerkraut for 2 weeks. The fermenting gave the pepper mix some natural vinegar and other flavours. Then, using info from the many hot sauce recipes that are on the net, I added spices, herbs, honey, vinegar, sugar etc. After blending and straining, I hot packed the sauce in hot sauce jars I bought off the net. I ended up with 24 bottles and a mason jar full because I didn't have enough hot sauce jars. I started giving the stuff away. Everyone loves it. Dumb luck I'm sure but it was a lot of fun. I'm watching this video because making hot sauce was so much fun I can't get enough of seeing how other folks do it. Thumbs up here!
That sounds awesome!!! Ive always wanted to do a fermented sauce! Good work I bet it was really great!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THOS VIDEO
I'd have a beer with this guy. Your videos are great. Keep going. Just subscribed
Thanks for giving the perfect baseline for hotsauces and a valid precaution as well 😂
Good work look like so good sauce
First time I finding one that I really like 💪
New subscriber. Thanks for this video
Hot sauce is really one of those things that it's hard to mess up.
Back a couple years ago I used to make all kinda hot sauces just throwing fruits, vinegar and peppers into a blender and seeing how they came out.
absolutely delicious.
Not letting it turn bad is the hard part
What was your favorite fruit?
You have inspired me to make my own hot sauce
Perfect
