Hey guys! Just wanted to give a quick tip on the haunted cake, I experimented with extra moist cake mix today and it did NOT work the same. While the cake tasted great, the ghost looked more like a round blob. So I will only be using traditional cake mix for this method moving forward. Also, I suggest you refrigerate your sheet cake overnight before attempting to use your cookie cutter on it. You can spray your cookie cutter to make it easier to use and make sure the shapes are snug/tight in the loaf pan so they don't fall to the side. I just wanted to share those tips that I've learned - Happy Halloween! 🎃

I'm not a fan of cake pops but I know many are. To cut down on the waste from the leftover cake after you've cut out the ghosts turn that extra cake into cake pops and you can have fun and decorate the pops to look like jack-o'-lanterns.

A witch hat glued to the top of the ghost head would look super cute! It would also hide the flat top and hold everything together more!

Fun fact for those string Xmas lights used for the ghost, they have a strand of lights like that at the dollar tree. In the box there is a tiny plastic baggy with 3 spare bulbs. One of the bulbs has a red painted tip- if you remove any bulb on the strand, and replace it with the red tipped bulb, the strand of lights will blink. They blink in phases. And it’s not a strobe type of blink. It’s so cool
