Hail and drizzle keep me working indoors on a new kitchen! Building a cozy log cabin!

I work on filling up my firewood bin a bit before the weather keeps me mainly inside for the rest of the trip. Good thing I made the focus of the log cabin build "cozy"! It came and went all day, but at least it wasn't too chilly!
I get the last section of dirt floor covered and start the kitchen. The sink is going to be replaced with a nicer one and there will be more of a countertop when it can be tied into the hearth. But it's already a big quality of life upgrade!

When I was homeless, I lived in my car. On cold nights, the rain is pleasant. I don't know how many times I heard the sound of rain patting on the car. Didn't realize I would miss it. Now I listen in my bed, with my wife. Helps to sleep well, reminds me of the hard times, makes you value the good times. Lots of love to anyone who had to listen to this noise.
