- This comparison is focused on the Nintendo Switch version. The PS5 version is running in PS4 Pro backwards compatibility mode and the PC version is configured with settings at maximum.
- Nintendo Switch features numerous visual cutbacks as you would expect, but considering the hardware limitations, the work done on this port is surprising at times.

I think it's a similar logic to Rockstar with Red Dead Redemption 1 that came out for the Switch and PS4.
Both consoles have a huge playerbase and with the game on PS4, PS5 players could play thanks to backwards compatibility.
It turns out that a next-gen version would probably not generate as much profit as the company wants.

The Nintendo Switch is barely more powerful than the Wii U and yet it has received incredible ports of The Witcher 3, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein 2, Mortal Kombat 11, Hogwarts Legacy, Dragon Quest 11, Alien Isolation, No Man's Sky and now this.
If the successor to the Nintendo Switch really has the hardware that the rumors indicate (base PS4 in handheld mode and PS4 Pro in dock mode but supposedly with 10 ~ 12 GB of RAM and without the speed limitations of an HDD) just imagine the possibilities and games that this handheld may receive in the future.
The only thing is what will they use for fast storage that won't cost much power and cost and could run on a cartridge. I just hope carts aren't going to turn out like blu rays on consoles, where you have to install on the system first to play it.
Please make a comparison for Resident Evil 2 classic (maybe with seamless hd project) vs Resident Evil 2 with fixed camera mod.

No tenia ni idea que habia salido en Switch.Con razon podia ejecutarlo con mi GTX 1050ti con graficos decentes.
es un juego viejo, la version de pc fue bien optimizada en su momento por eso podias jugarlo bien en esa gpu, el port de switch es nuevo.

Except for the resolution, it's not as bad as I expected it to be.
As soon as we heard the news about the release of the same game, we thought that it would look much, much worse and also work as a super good port that differs little from the PC version. I'm injecting into it now I’m currently playing it on Nintendo and see almost no difference with PC except for the energy consumption of 4 watts)

The game is cool on PS4 but the loading times kill it, same with Metro Exodus, some are more than 4 minutes.

If you use an SSD on the PS4 it will probably improve loading.
Cyberpunk 2077 has several problems on the PS4 thanks to the slow HDD speed, but if you put an SSD in the console it becomes quite playable.

@@inkyeye8327It's a handheld, it's not like you'd notice such a low resolution on a 5-inch (Switch Lite) or 7-inch (Standard Switch) screen.
It would be bad if it was with a home console like the Series S that has some games that run below 500p.

Switch has sold (139 million) almost double units than Ps5 (50 million) and Xbox Series (21 million) combined. If I was a game developer, I'd wish that my game was published in the platform where it could sell the most.
Cause the of team didn’t waste any time on porting their game to switch system. The port was done by Saber Interactive and if it sells well - the large part of the profit will go to og devs. Then they’ll be able to get more funds for KCD 2

Switch version looks awful. Ps5 version is not bad 1080p. Series X version is the best 1440p native.
What's terrible is that I play and have a PC with a 4060 and the difference, especially on a small screen, is very small.
Sure it looks like a PS3 launch day port of a PS2 game, with the resolution and the vasoline mud filter of an N64 game and a draw distance of 5 meters but it kind of runs okay...ish

Switch is really not a good gaming experience. Especially this game. Whoever plays it gonna struggle a lot with the combat. Hope they tweaked the difficulty.
The only reason I own one is to play Zelda
portables are always about compromises, the only thing is that old games played well on them

While its impressive, in no way should you play this on Switch.
It's like playing Doom Eternal.
There are people who the Switch is the only platform, and this is a decent version to these people (myself, though the game doesn't look that fun)
All in the name of lazy bedroom gameplay. At the end of the working day I have no willingness to turn on my PC, such ports help casual gamers like me
For a game that looks mediocre on everything other than PC (even on PS5 doesn't look great) this is decent.

Стоит учитывать что ps5 версия в данном видео испрльзует игру версию для ps4,используя обратную совместимость,и разработчики ничего не добавляли для версии ps5.Так что формально тут нативная версия игры для ps4.
