Why so many dislikes?? This is what music is about, being experimental. If producers just stuck to the style we all expect then we would never even have drum and bass in the first place!

Very true. Just because Netsky is now 'mainstream' means he isn't good?? Of course he's good. If you're a true DnB fan, you listen to it all, 'underground' or 'mainstream', it doesn't matter. All DnB is great, regardless of whether it's played on Radio 1 or not.

The problem is, most people cant handle all the innovating stuff and sounds Rockwell uses, therefore people immidiatly dislike it. Such a shame..

this reminds me of jamie xx's remix of rolling in the deep, they're not similar musically but in the way they challenge peoples views what music is is similar. (and the way it splits the like bar) I think this one is definitely a grower. Loving the diversity these artists are throwing up

The reason I think this has dislikes is because stupid kids clicked on a Netsky tune expecting to hear the same generic synth sound over a standard unimpressive beat.

Haven't even heard the original and this is better. :P All seriousness though, Rockwell is a GENIUS. Forward thinking people. It's called being innovative, and with all of the continually revisited, recycled sounds in "edm" these days, innovation is what we all need. Just my two cents. I'm American so what do I know about DnB? O_o Props to both producers.
If you were looking for netsky-style drum&bass stick to Hospital records, Rockwell is a Shogun assassin nutcase.

i totaly agree with you in the poit of senslessnes in arguing about music, but i have to say, that the intention of this remix is NOT to smash your head against a wall or be a chainsaw massacre. its values are the quality of the used samples and the complexity of the polyrythmic structure. and in this respect its more than well done!

This song is actually well produced. Not a bad tune but not a great one either. I don't see why you can't open your eyes to better production. Maybe people have just been absorbed into pop 'n bass as I like to call it.

massive fan of both netsky and rockwell, and tbh I don't think the original track was up to netsky's classic standards, and I agree this mix is a tad messy. But I have respect for both the artists and will continue to support them, even if I don't feel these newest releases are up to their usual (and granted - very high) standards. Support real drum and bass...
I think the problem is that people listen to this on their laptop or 20$ speakers and think that what they hear is everything in the track, even though they can't hear shit becuase the mixdown is perfect and their speakers are not.
