I remember falling asleep every single night, slightly or heavily high, with my headphones on, rocking these sounds. 2008, 2009, now it's 2021 and listening to this makes me feel happy, at the same time it kind of hurts a little, you know? That nostalgia, experiences so simple yet so beautiful, today's absolutely beautiful but more complex reality somehow compares pretty bleak to all that. All the friends who are now gone, all the time ahead that is now past... I miss listening to High Contrast in 2008 so bad.
