What business do people sitting in New York have in something happening 9000 km away in Uganda. Those human rights people are full of nonsense! Our country should vigorously pursue what's in her best interests and ignore detractors. |🇺🇬👍

Refining the oil instead of exporting crude oil is better for Uganda, with refined oil, Uganda could improve there road network with products like bitumen from the refined oil and export other products gained from the refined oil.

Though this idea of oil refinery with in our own country Uganda is not a bad idea it's not fair to blow it out of context and it's better to remain in its anticipation(oil refinery centres) in the near near future because the beginnings are always the hardest to be realistic.Even the longest journey begins with a single step.EACOP Project benefits are real.❤.

"Disrespecting local customs ".......... because of graves ??? Why didn't we hear human rights watch support the customs of Ugandas on fighting against homosexuality when parliament passed the bill? But instead they opposed it, that's double standard and do they should keep quiet

But mr. President please watch your back ----- you know what I'm talking about! Also, do not forget and copy from the example displayed by the outgoing president of Liberia. That's one way to set Africa 🌍 in a good, prosperous, ..... footing for progress --- yes progress, lasting progress 👏 💪 🙌 👌 👍 😀!

All those people/families and tribes being displaced along that pipeline…….soon or later turf wars will arise once that pipeline starts transporting crude oil . It would’ve been better to build an oil refinery in Uganda creating jobs, skills and export the finish products to its citizens costumers and to neighboring African nations. This will avoid any potential tribal or ethnic conflicts. Building that pipeline along those routes is backwards thinking and it’s going to cause a lot of wars, conflicts, bandits . Rebel militias groups who want that quick buck and let’s not forget the environmental destruction ect…….. We Africans need to start depending on our own skills and people instead external nonsense.
