I played 15-20 regular competitive matches this week and all 5 had nothing but case farmers in them lol I’m not good I’m low nova and it’s all ? Mark accounts, 5 stacks or afk people. It’s horrendous

i think this is the second best time to invest since cs 2, i think they are cooking an anti cheat that will bring alot of people back and will boost the market at the same time by doing that.

Ok so we know player numbers are up due to farmers and cheats and that players are pretty pissed at the level of cheating in this game, I've played less due to 4 out of 5 games having cheaters in them. So why would anyone be crafting right now? Maybe once valve pull out their fingers and fix cheating things might improve but it's really all about the cheater situation at the moment
My guess is - they want cheaters to feel secure, and the longer they wait for ban wave; the more items they can delete/ban. I see this as a good thing as when these bots and cheaters will get banned, lowering supply of cases, stickers and items in general.
@@Andidass well I wish they would just get on with it and make the game unfriendly towards cheaters, it's a battle that will never go away and they aren't even defending anything at present
Valve does their bans in waves to prevent new cheats. Unfortunately that hurts in the short term
@@MasterShiny but that dumb, it provides windows of time where cheaters knows they're are safe. I work in a similar role in finance and it's about making the environment risky and unrewarding for cheaters, not giving them windows where they know they are safe. Fresh thinking is really required to fix this and continue to fix as cheaters adapt

bro the player count comes from cheaters, case farming and third party trading bots, crunch the numbers, player numbers are inflated and my last point why should something go up in price (e.g. paris) if the game is cooked...
