    Please continue creating contents like this. I'm really learning a lot from your videos. It directs back to God in a practical way without being too preachy or pushy or at least to me - an approach that works for me. So many takeaways from this. Thank you very much!

    12:10 "If you can't do the additions, start with the first principles." -- a really good quote to help readjust your priorities and not sweat too much on the 'minor'

    The start of the year was a wonderful time for me to reflect on what is essential to me. We need to find the essential few from the trivial many. With so many choices, distractions, and things that get our attention, we often forget what makes our lives meaningful. We are obsessed with comparing ourselves to what we see, leaving us to feel discontent with what we have or the lack thereof. But great is the Lord, for the saying is true - that Christ is enough! When we meet Jesus and cultivate our relationship with Him, it feels like all the worldly joys are only second to His. He is our firstest (greatest) joy and the most essential. Seek first the kingdom of God and everything that will be added unto you is much more real. This is such wonderful content, Ptr. Joe. God bless.

    Solid yung firstest Ptr. Joe. Been busy with those additions that I forget where all of these things point to. Those instances where reading books were more important than grasping principles from the Bible. I got comfortable reading things that really "align" with me but it's much much better to be aligned with God. This is a great reminder to really know God first and everything will just be added unto us. (Matthew 6:33) ✨

    Hello Pastor.. How do you manage your time being a pastor and a family man at the same time?
    I super love your family 💖

    • @Ian-wd4vl
      @Ian-wd4vl Před 2 lety

      Not pastor Joe but here is my advise: Prioritizing the priority.
      1st God
      2nd Family
      3rd Ministry
      Serving your family is more essential than serving the ministry. It is not bad to serve in the ministry of the Lord. But God called us 1st to His love, next to our innermost circle, then others. We need to know what are our priorities.
