So I made an interesting discovery today. It seems that the voice in the background of this song is quoting part of a poem called "A Supermarket in California" by Allan Ginsberg, which was written about the famous poet Walt Whitman, and it goes like this:
"Where are we going, Walt Whitman? The doors close in an hour. Which way does your beard point tonight?
...Will we walk all night through solitary streets? The trees add shade to shade, lights out in the houses, we'll both be lonely."

Continuing the legacy. It's been 16 years since passenger's first song on youtube. 2 years after the last comment here. This video is just a few months younger than me. It's really weird seeing videos this old and it really creates warm and weird feelings that I can't quite express. Hope someone else continues this sometime. Some years from now.
