Thanks for reviewing this. not many people are tackling this whisky. great that you did.
Thank you for watching ☺️ I try my best to cover a mix of things 🥃
Always a cool vibe on your review videos! Cheers🥃
Thank you!! 🥃
swedishwhiskygirl you’re welcome!
For a blend, it’s excellent. I drink it neat.
I’m aiming for low price single or blended malts or good blends. Few of the no age statement blends are good enough for me to drink neat. Chivas, JW Black, Monkey Shoulder (blended malt), Glenfarclas 10 all good and reasonably priced but this Ballantine’s is excellent value if you like a slightly sweeter taste (and half the price).
I'm curious to try this whiskey and your review stimulated me even more! Congratulations on the channel! Greetings from Brazil
🥃👍🏻🇧🇷
Thank you for watching! ☺️
Great refreshing and cool we love it 😍
Wow! Haven’t seen Ballantine’s since I was kid. Holidays at the grandparents and that was always out. As a kid when my grandmother would say want a taste? Then that gross taste of whisky as a child. Worked well never touched it again until I was grown. Must get a bottle and see if I can spark some old memories. Great video as always!
Haha, how clever ! Would be interesting to see what you think of it now - perhaps it'll only bring back bad flavours memories 🙈
@@swedishwhiskygirl well, I’m sure willing to try and let you know.
I think that smell is same as ballantines finest but taste is something new to me..that spicy taste at the beggining I never tasted before and finish is somehow light and the thing I like about this 7 is that it doesn't have so much alcoholic taste like original finest.
Great show. I wish if you could do a comparison of ballentine 7,finest and 12year old
Some great blends in The Highlander Craigellachie , I bought a bottle of yhis in duty free 1 litre about 22 pounds uk
Ballantines are lovely blends, and Chivas older, the better
My Favorite Whisky Bourbon Ever
I found this in my local supermarket. I'm a single malt whisky lover, my two favorite whiskies are the Laphroaig 10 yo 43 abv American version and the glenfiddich 18 yo. If I drink this Ballentine 7 bourbon barrel, would I get disappointed?
Oh tricky - they’re all very different ! The Ballentines doesn’t have smoke like Laphroaig and doesn’t have the same aged fruits like Glenfiddich 18. It’s quite sweet and youthful so it all depends on if you like that kind of character ☺️ Is there any blends that you like - would probably be easier to compare it to that?
@@swedishwhiskygirl I like Green label and used to have it always in my mini bar. Recently I've noticed they put less Coal ila, tallisker and cragganmore in it so it tastes different and I don't appreciate how it changed.
It sounds like you maybe prefer the depth of single malts with a bit more body so I’m suspecting the Ballantines might be a little bit too light for your preferences, considering it’s a bit younger than the Glenfiddich and not smoky at all compared to Laphroaig. It is also a blended scotch so the addition of the grain whisky makes the character lighter, which you wouldn’t find in the a Green Label as it is a blended malt - but that’s just a wild guess!
@@swedishwhiskygirl thanks for your most appreciated advice 👍🏼
An odd confusing whisky for sure. Could they mean "Virgin Oak" since it's the type of oak used to make bourbon?
Hmm, perhaps... 🧐
Nice wideo. I wath you in poland
