*Seems like a good solar **Generater.Systems** . I have not had to put it to the test yet in a situation without power but it has seemed to operate fine so far.*
I already got the Delta and very happy with it. I use it in my RV and in my barn. Love the amount of power it can store.
It’s so useful for so many situations!
So excited for our camping and park adventures! This is so handy 💯
The River Pro is perfect for quick camping getaways. Glad I got one.
Definitely great for grab and go
You had me at the expresso machine part. I am gonna get the Ecoflow Delta.
My Delta can run my gas furnace which pulls 530 watts when the blower motor is cranking. I use it instead of a gas generator to get me through power outages.
Great video, fun to watch!
Thank you for watching Marcus!
An excellent video with lots of useful real life examples.
Thank you for watching!
I had a customer service representative speak with me, over a few Issues. What a pleasure to call a company C/S. And ❤️ speak with a real living female. Well knowledgeable 😊 for being their 4 me!
thanks, great review, I learned a lot
Thanks for watching!
awesome work, thanks. I believe the Delta has a LiFePO4 vs Li ion. I have a home portable back up so I think the River Pro better for me for travel but the Delta better for my son's apartment as he works from home and needs his computers. Again, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Just got the River pro and I agree with the fast charge only if needed,I fast charged right out of the box ,fan was blowing hot air, capable of a full charge but lithium can be sensitive to the cold and heat,so the slow charge mode is a safe bet for long life of the battery, hey great video and demo, may consider the delta also, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Nice work! I like your humor😀
Hahaha thanks! and thanks for watching
I have no problem with the app I've purchased the Eco flow generators and and I have not had a problem on the engineer on the engineer and I've been totally satisfied with the performance of these batteries. I'm gonna say that you have to do your homework and research I was actually looking at the jackery and I was Is very impressed with the jackery. And I am not knocking the jackery it's a great product but when I looked at the Eco flow to me it was hands down and and I purchased it and I haven't had any issues with them I love the display I love the Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi very well constructed a very put togetherProduct.
Cool dude. :) Greets from Bavaria
😂 expresso depresso you got me in the eye with that one 🤜😜
Hi great channel! Just wondering what power station I should get I just need it for 12v LED TV & PS4 for a few hours per night!
Nice video. Well done.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed
I definitely I like the information
What about when you add the second battery to the river pro?
That intro though 😍
Working hard on quality!
Nice real world test. Are either duel charge? Sc and solar at the same time?
The River Pro is nice but the Delta is nicer. Already thinking of ways on how to use the Delta.
The River can be expanded to double the output.
Don't forget though, you can add a battery to the River and double the Wh capacity for $400-450.
The set is on sale at Costco for $699. Pro and extra battery
@@kariw.160 got both of mine at Costco. Great deals!
Nice vid... ty! I wish someone would try a hair dryer on the River pro! hint hint I would only need it for 2 -3 minutes. Do you think a 1400w hair dryer would work? :)
Thank you for watching! With the hair dryer on the River i would be willing to bet you will get a similar result as the space heater. I wouldn’t run like normal for 2-3 minutes and it would probably be more like 10 minutes to get the same results, i dont think it would worth it
Thanks brian for the video. It just made me want the Delta even more.
Is the river pro fan loud?
You need to use the XBoost to boil the water on the river pro
xboost was on, I'm sure of it
I find one after another that I received of the equal flow River as well as the equal flow Max not able to power a 100 w appliance for the said hours which is 600 watts an hour dying out in less than an hour when the unit is fully charged only to maintain on solar while it's that is higher than the appliance has anyone had this problem which I see many of them so refurbished off of eBay which indicates a high return 🤔
I know this video is kinda old, but I've seen other reviewers test coffeemakers and even a instant pot using the eco boost on the river pro and it worked, I don't know if you researched it correctly back then, but the eco boost is primarily for appliances with a heated element, all I'm saying is it's confusing when some say it will, and some say it won't, when you're trying to buy something in your price range🤷🏿♂️
Hey, thanks for commenting! I did a lot of research and testing. There is always a possibility I got something wrong but I cannot think of a single thing I could have done better. Just because on eco boost you can run an appliance that requires more than 600 watts doesn't mean that it will run well because that is all that you can get out of the river, 600 watts. So you can be running a coffee maker that requires 1000-1800 watts with a third of the total power it needs. The river does this by limiting either the volts or amps (I can't remember which) that the device will use to run.
@@BrianSepulveda Thx for the reply, I made my decision to get the ecoflow delta, I wanted something that will run the majority of appliances, such as a microwave and a instant pot, and this one will do it with no problem, and again thx for the reply👍🏿
@@zulublack1212 yeah I’ve used it with my instant pot many times, works like a charm! Anytime!
What if you have the river pro with the extra batter which puts both around the $950 to $1k price tag?
It depends if you want more battery capacity or if you want to be able to output more power
@@BrianSepulveda Gotcha. Yea I think both have value. If I need to power things lower wattage (say a box freezer) pbut need to run it for a longer period being an off grid scenerio the River is best. If I have a high wattage item I only need to run for a shorter period of time (hair dryer let's say) and that is my primary use case then the Delta would be best.
@@andyCZcamsEmail yeah very well said
Do a video comparing the Ecoflow delta mini vs River Pro.
That would be a better comparison.
That’s what I was looking for 😅 any chance you think he forgot to turn the extra boost or whatever to the river pro. I think it wasn’t on the kettle 😅
This is not a fair comparison.
They are for different uses with $700 price spread and both are GREAT Machines.
You can’t get out 1400w heaters, and coffee makers and act surprised that the River Pro doesn’t power it.
It would be nice to see someone do a video with “real life” prolonged power outage scenarios.
“I flipped the circuit in my house and here I sit in the dark. I plugged in these 2 lamps, the tv for the kids and occasional news, 3 cellphones and we are cooking with a dc powered skillet!” 😂
Thanks for the video however. I appreciated your time energy and great professional visuals.
Thank you for watching and for the comment!
Have the river pro absolutely awesome …got the Delta max 2000 total let down 😢
I’m curious, what was wrong with the Max?
@@BrianSepulveda lost 1/3 of the capacity now charges like a max 1600 since last update tried multiple times to reset just frustrating because it was fine before update
So no capacity test? Anyone can plug random stuff in and film it. Does the capacity match the marketing specs?
Doesn't the river pro have an extra battery extension?
Yeah it does, it's sold separately or as a combo
How much W was the electric kettle pulling, please?
it was 1450 watts
@@BrianSepulveda thank you! I'll try and give 1000w a go...
Trying to have fast charge time fast as the charge and discharge even faster it doesn't hold the recommended charge of the appliance charge time
Hello, just wondering if the River Pro has a lot of fan noise when running
If it’s under heavy loads you can definitely hear the fans
@@BrianSepulveda , this is going to be around my tv viewing area, with my cable box and router plugged into it. Is there a different brand that doesn’t have fan noise?
@@Charles12509 I would say that with that load you may not even notice the fan noise. Do you know how many watts your tv pulls? With my 42” tv and an Apple TV there was no fan noise you can hear from the couch, if they were going at all
@@BrianSepulveda , that sounds good…with the tv, router and cable box probably around 150 watts…here where I live lately we have lost power for no reason a lot. I am retired so internet and tv is my life lol….the best part is I can get the extra battery if I have to..
@@Charles12509 hahaha yeah I get it. Yeah at 150 watts the fans will not be going at full speed. You probably won’t even notice them.
how long would a 100w light last do you think?
Depends. On the Delta, if it's a 100w DC light I would say about 12 hours and through AC maybe just over 10 hours. On the River Pro, A 100w DC light may last 7 hours and around 6 hours through AC.
@@BrianSepulveda off of several ones that I have purchase will not hold a charge of 100 w we should last at least 6 hours literally dies out in less than an hour after having the unit for a month only able to maintain the appliance under high solar the eco River and the echo River pro
You didn’t give the river pro a fair shot the extra smart battery would allow everything that didn’t work work and I would’ve loved to see the comparison
That’s not how the extra battery works. The extra battery allows everything to run for longer. It does not allow the river pro to provide more power output for bigger appliances
@@BrianSepulveda Correct when I contact eco flow they said X-Boost works better if you have the extra Smart battery which will give you 1800w but it’s recommended to use under 1200w I just wanted to see if it was true
Also I really appreciate this video don’t get me wrong I just wanted to know if it’s true i haven’t found and video comparison I want to see the mini delta vs the river pro doesn’t exist so yours was the closest so in other words thank you and look forward into seeing more videos
@@jaiquanstudios4165 Yeah I appreciate you watching! From my experience and from what I’ve learned on different forums, groups, and site the extra battery will only extend the use time and not performance. I think they might mean that X-boost works better with the extra battery because the larger appliances will last longer. Hope this helps. i just got the Delta Pro so hopefully I’ll compare that one to these two in the future.
@@BrianSepulveda @jaiquanstudios thanks! I was looking for this comment. Now I know!
Thought the river pro was a 720 and not a 600w max unit? Curious why you say it can only handle up to 600?
The river pro has a 720 watt hour battery capacity but it can normally power devices of 600 watts
where i can buy this ecoflow?
They are linked in the description
Which EcoFlow product are you going to get the River Pro or the Delta? Or if you're looking for an even bigger battery that can handle even more check out EcoFlow's Kickstarter for the Delta Pro by clicking the link in the description.
Delta for sure!
Got the river max and delta 😎
@@ozzie3056 it’s an awesome combo!
Delta , river max
Why river is cheaper than Delta
Smaller battery and can run less things
Like review Bruh, you look like the youngest old guy. Good video presentation. Wish you mentioned battery chemistry type
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the feedback
At first you mention it was à delta vs river pro... and at the end 3times you say delta pro!!! So is it a delta or à delta pro????
Just regular delta. Sorry about that
Thanks for getting to the points. Too many ramblers on youtube.
Happy you enjoyed it!
i like your Sponsor:) like and Suscribe!!
Lol thanks for watching!
140 watt for a fridge? Dude, that must be a really old stuff, or just outdated as hell :D Engel and Indel freezers use 60 watts even when you set it to -20 celsius, you should upgrade to a better one, it will double your time you can run the fridge
Oh no not 140 watts for the fridge alone. At that point in the video with all the devices I had plugged in plus the fridge it was pulling 140 watts. Sorry for the misunderstanding
This is not the Delta Pro.
Not a fair comparison.
No the comparison I'd not fair and you have to do research on company websites because Amazon doesn't tell watt usage unless you ask and it's hard to decide if the 550-600 is enough or go up to the larger size
They all have the same problem. You can't charge them with solar and the cigarette lighter. You must choose one or the other.
That is a big oversight and huge inconvenience when traveling.
I'm so disturbed that no "reviewers" mention this obvious and practically limiting flaw for something intended to be used for on the go power.
It would be nice to be able to charge from both at the same time. But for many, it won't matter if they are just keeping it in their homes for backup power. Also, "reviewers" may not mention it because it is "obvious"
The two products have different use cases. It really isn't fair to compare one to the other.
You're right but some people, like me before buying both, may know they only want an Ecoflow and are debating which one they need/want
What’s the difference between them? What are the different use cases?
@@PS987654321PS Both products supply power but one is a much higher capacity than the other. It can supply much higher peak wattage to power larger or more power hungry devices.
