Meeting up with your ex can be both exciting and a bit scary when hoping to get back together. The first time you end up meeting up with your ex after the break up, the tendency is to want to seal the deal right away or to over compensate for mistakes that you’ve done in the past.

I spent 30 days doing no contact and on the thirtieth day he reached out wanting to meet and talk about things. No contact does work if you are consistent and focus on bettering yourself instead of mourning what you've lost! they will come around once they realize you're not falling apart without them!

thats what i did on saturday i just really stepped back and i cherished every moment i kinda would look at her and just smile seeng how happy she was moment to moment through out the day shes become my best friend over the last 2 and half years we have alot of downs which only makes our ups so much more special. Shes now the one whos been talking about us more lately then me i love and adore her so much shes so gorgeous and shes been asking if im doing okay alot more lately too which just reassures me that she does really care about me.

My girlfriend dumped me after 4 years relationship for another guy i thought of revenge i thought of getting her back to hurt her like she did cause my inside was burning like hell but now im trying to get over her i texted her a msg last week telling her that i discoverd about that guy and why she dumped me.. and blocked her and told her to never ever reach me again i closed all the doors.. I haven't seen any videos from you guys about how to set up your meeting properly so that you get a positive response from your ex, and are actually able to meet up. I was just having a lot of trouble as to find a reasonable question to bring up as to set up the date that gives me higher possibility of getting a yes out of it
If your meeting your ex for the 1st meet up, what is recommended for the actual date?Do you go to a restaurant and have dinner together or do you go to a quite place like a park where you can walk and talk. I was thinking more along the lines of doing something fun. Like going to a spa and getting pampered with a massage? I guess doing that will not be interpersonal in the since of making eye contact and looking at her body language. So the massage would probably be out of the question I guess?

you know what I've figured out the main problem that I'm getting scared of from time to time whenever I hear about it among all other tips and that is ...I DON'T KNOW FOR REAL THAT WHAT WENT WRONG!!! Hi, I need an answer to this please. I know u said we should date somewhere else where we haven’t been before on our first date after the break up. We broke up on Aug 29th and we both agreed to date again after a month on 09/29 and use our return tickets to Hershey Park (it is a big amusement Park in Hershey Pennsylvania), we were there on my bday in July. Do i need to cancel that plan now and ask him to go to a first date somewhere else? BTW our return tickets will expire on 09/31st thank u. Well have you tried proposing to her? I don't know how strong your relationship is now but one of the reasons she may be moving away is that she has no strong ties to keep her in the same state as you.she is free as a bird and may even be moving so she can get a better opportunity to settle down. We did laugh and have a good time, though after seeing a few signs of attraction, I jumped back to my old self and ruined attraction by telling her that I want her back as she started to talk about the past. So I'm at the point to initiate reaching out. Which I did and we are going to the movies on Sunday and he even agreed to come to my side of town which is completely out of his way by about 1 hour. I just did 6 months of no contact with my husband. He had a mental breakdown so i had no information to go on. He wanted to be left alone so i said ok. But im here if you need to talk. So 6 months later my mum sees him at our shop (he NEVER comes here) and she asked if she could come up and get our dog, who i also hadnt seen. He looked confused and said that i could come anytime to get him. Then he text me and asked if i wanted a coffee and a chat. We did have to talk about the house but we talked for 3 hours. He said to come anytime for a coffee and then he rang and said he would take me out for coffee. I said i might be moving to auckland to be near my daughter and grandaughter and he said that he couldnt move back there, he would get into to much trouble. I thought this was an odd comment, since it was me who was moving, not us. But hey baby steps.
I leave in a week for school so i don’t have more time to wait but we agreed we should meet up to say bye however he’s in a new relationship.

I was doing sooo well. We were talking and hanging out often (“as friends”) but there was some intimacy and romantic vibes. I think you were doing good as far as being friends then progressing to intimacy, that’s kind of what’s supposed to happen it’s just dating all over again. The stressful conversation is what interferes. I would keep peace by apologizing on whatever your part was of the convo. Then maybe he will too. And after that maybe try to chit that for a couple more texts. Keep it light and playful. Kill all the negative vibes. Then after that just keep living your life and hopefully he’ll reach out again.

How to behave with a chesting ex ?
So, so thankful for these tips and insights! I have a first meet up with my ex this summer during a trip to France, where I will pass by close to where he lives (I live in Scandinavia). It'll then be almost 11 months post breakup. Is there anything you think one should do differently when it comes to long distance relationships, when it is unlikely that you'll randomly be in their area again for a second meet up? I'm confident I can apply your advices to have a good time and re-attract him, but wonder what the next step should be in order to maximise your chance of getting back together. (I've listened to Alex's audio seminar on long distance relationships many times, and haven't yet found the answer there. Otherwise I really love it!)

Really nice video guys! I just wanted to ask, can you make a video of a situation when your ex needs to work on themselfs. And also how to attract your ex in that situation or any situation at all? I am in a situation were my ex doesn’t have the same feelings for me anymore and needs to work on herself, i contacted her after a month of NC just by text and it was oke. Then 2,5 weeks later i called her to ask how she was doing and i wanted to arrange a meetup. Her answer was that she was going to think about it because she still has allot to work on, and things on her mind. So i dont know how to go on from now. Give her more time and space or try again in a few weeks maybe with some more attracting ways of communication? I just think that if i give her more space that she will just be fine without me cus she doesn’t have feelings for me at the moment.

Well i dont think she will be needy or smothering me cus sins the breakup she hasn’t initiated contact once :( thats why i think im losing here and also my opportunaty to get her attracted to me again before she completely moves on and/or find someone else and then dont be interested at all.

Now I got someone better now in my life. Girl loves to playing games.. you can do better without her when the right person comes along than you know what to do. I am messaging you as I am going through a breakup with my ex girlfriend and have been reading into some of your articles online.
My ex broke up with me over a month ago, saying that we were too different and she couldn't do it anymore. We were together for over 4 years and talked about everything together, we were even looking at moving in together. All of a sudden one day she told me that she no longer had the feelings for me anymore, she broke up with me. She then decided to block me from everything. I done the silly thing of pleading and begging her to take me back, I even took a day off work to give her a hand written note on what she meant to me. When I went to her house she had the serious face of not wanting me anymore. I asked her to do one favour for me and that was to
unblock me from social media as I wanted to know everything what was happening. I browsed her page and seen that she went on a "date" with her best friends brother and started making, cheeky comments of it and posting photos of them together. Over the following weeks she has continued to make comments of them both but they aren't officially dating, she is still single as far as I'm aware.
For me I have done the no contact period of 14 days without speaking to her for me to reach out to her and let her know that I was okay with the breakup and realised there was faults in the relationship, I told her I have been making some crucial changes in my life and would love to share them with her. She replied immediately asking me to let her know, I said to her there is too much to say and would prefer to contact using a call instead, we normally called. She then went cold on me and never responded. I then bumped into her the other day and it never felt awkward at all, I held my head high and smiled throughout the conversation as did she and told her briefly of some of my changes. She then said to me when she comes back from holiday next week she wants a proper catch up and cuddled me.
For me I am in a position that I do want my ex back, not because I feel lonely without her, but because of the strong bond and connection we once had, I feel this can be repaired. I however don't know where to go as she is communicating with this other guy and her bestfriend as well who obviously don't like me. I am back in a no contact with her until she contacts me about the meet up. I want to take things slowly and be patient for her just like I was when we first met. Everyone keeps telling me to move on but the love is far too strong for that. I want to truthfully get her to go either on a coffee catch up or drink so we can talk like normal old days.
Do you have any advice on my current situation? And do you think there would be any chance of getting her back into my arms?

You being blocked everywhere and because of the needy behavior post breakup, a 14 no contact might not be enough.
Stay strong, and focus on your personal transformation to give you a better chance at a clean slate to reestablish a healthy dialogue.

Hi Coaches I want to give you an update on my situation. Your videos have helped me so much the last couple of weeks might I say!
I continued doing no contact with my ex as a self improvement both physically and mentally. Dropped my ex a good reminder text message the other day, we are now 2 months into the breakup, which she was happy to receive, responded well and was very eager at meeting up together for a catch up. She is now officially dating the other guy I mentioned previously and she continues to be hot and cold with me through text messages. I have got this catchup next week which I am looking forward to, I have built my confidence so much since we last seen each other and am looking forward to getting to know things about her. I don't want to be in the friends zone obviously however I don't want to be needy or desperate,something I was at the very start. Is there any further advice apart from not talking about the previous relationship and begging her to come back, eye contact and smiling is crucial obviously but I have stuck on how to rebuild an emotional connection with her.
