- Today we're heading inside this vintage abandoned Kroger to see what's left before everything is auctioned off. This one is located in Campbellsville Kentucky.

I'm from this area and I remember a Food Lion occupying this building before Kroger in the early to mid 90s.

This Kroger had the flagship script decor package that was used around this time however a more iconic decor package started rolling in Kroger stores around 2010 this decor package was last usually seen on renovations or new build stores around 2009-10. This store seems to have had some minor modifications done to this flagship script decor package
Thanks for posting this! I work at Kroger in the deli. I seen 4 deli slicers throughout the video. I like the slicers we use very good equipment.

Unfortunately, still vacant. Lights are on 24/7, so i don't envy whoever is paying the electric bill. I live across the road from it and wish they'd put another grocery in there. Not just for the ppl that live next to it, but a lot of ppl out speck ridge and that way, went there. Now they have to go farther for groceries. There was talk of an aldi going in there, but i was told it got stopped. Not sure if that's true or not.
If the area isn't doing economically well it probably wont get another store. It would be nice if it did.
Yeah I live there but we still have another kroger
We do but it's on another side on town to me so other was smaller and better to me
Now we have a whole side of town without a grocery store
this is in my home town. I hope they replace it with a Hobby Lobby or an aldi
Both of those would be good choices.
@Shawty cheese when I filmed it it was abandoned there wasn’t a store operating in the building.

@@TiltedTripodMedia Well we have another...bigger, Kroger. That was our small one that closed down. Campbellsville has a lot of shopping options. More so than most "small towns"

So there’s a Kroger in Maineville Ohio about to close, but they are moving just across the street do you think an auction “if they did it” would have it if it’s just moving

@@TD_SportzYT no why would there be an auction? Maybe a closing sale but even that’s unlikely. Most likely they will just close and move inventory.

A community that explores abandoned places and gives insight on things like the retail apocalypse and the reasons of why things are now abandoned while exploring those abandoned places. I think I summed it up alright.
Watching my urbex playlist will answer that question but to give a definition. It is exploring anything in an urban setting usually abandoned but doesn’t have to be😊

Some places when they shut down, they don’t leave the doors unlocked so anyone can just go in, that’s called trespassing and that’s not allowed bc if the cops find anyone around there they will get in big trouble….
Ummm ok? I do not condone forcing entry or trespassing when there are clearly marked signs and never vandalize
