As a huge Warzone fan Iâm so glad all these content creators stopped playing. I stopped playing entirely and I hope this movement continues until they actually start respecting the playerbase. Add an anti cheat, add a simple console FOV slider, make a new map, add a streamer mode, keep communication with the playerbase instead of leaving issues broken for weeks even months.
Exactly, the only way to make the game good is to not play at all. Maybe since they see us as numbers only they will actually have nothing to count and they will realize what's going on.
The problem with warZone is that they do not commute with the streamers and players, in games like apex the devs are really good and the Reddit community is also very good, devs reply to the posts on Twitter or Reddit and they implement many things that players posts about.
I think unfortunately to some the old warzone map will be hated now and then when a new one gets released it will be hated and the original one will be wished for return like fortnite
Exactly. Atm its extremely exhausting to play warzone. Almost 6 out of 10 games weâre encountering hackers. They dont even try to hide it. Today, a hacker was using a no scoped kar98k and shooting the ground, killing the whole lobby & winning. Thats besides being a console player and playing against pc players who have more advantage than us. Plus, i think itâs extremely boring to keep playing on the same map for more than 1 year. Verdansk was so much fun and was amazingly built but its time for a new one fr i dont understand why they wont just fix it. Weâve been loyal to the franchise for many years to date and they wont even fix stuff that are necessary to enjoy their games

Activision have learned from epics mistakes, they realise its the casual gamers that keep their servers alive and kicking and while all streamers and wannabe sweats have been grinding non stop on warzone for a year tryna be a somebody, everyone else has been casually playing apex legends and warzone with no real drama.. Hopefully the pc players stay away from apex and dont ruin that over the next 12 mths too for us
@@mhartincelt4525 i do not see how anticheat, and a basic rank system would ruin it for casuals. I also don't see how actually adding content instead of 2 guns/2 month or whatever could be bad. Everything is a low-effort 1 week event, where if something is broken, it won't get fixed, but will just get completely removed (armored truck for example).
I started playing in april, and the game is literally the absolute same as bsck then. A flippin clash royale update brings more new content,even tho the game is Dead. Please elaborate on how the things mentioned above would ruin the gamer for the casuals.
Thanks for acknowledging Apex. I have always debated Apex has more way more variety than Warzone. The fact you actually have to look for weapons and learn to use them rather than just getting 10k and buying a Loudout. The fact that you actually have to think what you can or cannot carry with you matters, the fact that characters you buy actually do more than just simply being pure cosmetic (although you still have to unlock most of the characters, you still have 6 default characters that are extremely useful in their own ways and plus you can simply grind to earn tokensand buy characters for free). I would argue Apex Legends is the best battle royal game to have been.
Facts
Definitely agree that Apex is a fun ass game and has more variety than Warzone, but having to buy and or locking characters behind a paywall/grinding should not be a point of success for apex. Especially since every character is different and some legends are better than other, it creates an unnecessary barrier for new players to deal with. Youâve got to get to level 200+ to unlock every legend without paying like wtf thatâs not a simple grind, thatâs a lot of playing time that most people donât have. Never support a company locking game mechanic and/or characters behind a paywall

Bruh Warzone is like a year or two old and is dry af, meanwhile, GTA is almost 8 years old and it still gets weekly updates and a new dlc like every 6 months or something.
GTA is just one of those games that'll always be fun to revisit and play

Ways to fix warzone-
Functioning anti-cheat: Goes without saying, primarily because banning on a free to play game does nothing. You can restrict rights from hardware or make it so ppl who own warzone can play so that a hacker would at least have to repurchase the game and spend more money each time thus limiting the amount of ppl willing to cheat.
Console only mode: I have never been able to play with crossplay disabled, ive tried multiple times and waited for crazy amounts of time and it doesn't work. This is frustrating when your playing on 70+ ping and playing ppl with faster frame rates, ppl with 3 ping, better light filters, 120 fov, and can snap at +180 defree angles without additional motion blur or recoil loss and you have to play in pc lobbies that have the highest concentration of hacking.
More content that you can work towards and less pay to win or progress store items: Not only have certain blueprints had hidden stats or traits but guns like the ots9 that is op but hasn't been unlocked immediately gets abused by ppl who spend money which is a big fuck you to anyone who plays the game and invests time just to lose to someone with another unfair advantage that the company itself adds in.... I was a prestiege master in other cods and losing my rank also sucks, give me challenges that unlock finishers or blueprints or operators again. Bo4 eventually made the other dlc available thru grinding right around the time the game was dead.... lets not wait that long on warzone.
New perks for perk 1 and perk 3: Perk 2 has overkill, ghost, restock, and high alert which are all op and unique perks that can change playing styles. And truthfully the other 2 perk 2 perks are not bad. But perk 1 only has EOD and quick fix which are ok and situational really. Perk 3 has Amped.... and if you really wanna try and be nice maybe tracker.. We need new perks that can give players variety and add elements to the game. One way we can change this is by buffing perks like battle hardened which has the potential of countering stuns and perks like restock, or making cold blooded effect your entire team in warzone. I would personally tho like to see new perks in general and am open to any new or returning perk suggests for perks 1 and 2. One option would be adding movement based perks, for instance adding one that gives a double jump ability that makes you able to jump on short one story buldings or shacks and maybe even gives the action dives ability we got on nakatomi plaza. Another possiblity would be to give a perk that allows for an addition attachment on your gun or guns. Hell you can even do the add one attachment perk on all three perks to add an additional 3 perks if available. Or another possibility is to add the overkill perk to perk 1 and 3 as well to allow things like ghost or restock right off the bat without worries... this would be made better if we had more variety at perks 1 and 3 however to allow for more perk switching variety during the 2nd and even third loadout drops.
Aesthetics: We can use skins for other options for instance molitov skins that change it to the bo4 wraith fire, or change the existing melee weapons to look like former cod melee weapons. Or better yet just add more viable melee weapons like the scepter of ra or apothicon sword from zombies.
Map: Lets get new buldings, new areas to learn and new jumpspots to master. As much as i love fighting in some of the buildings in warzone we are overdue for some variety and change.... and a dimmer sun. One option is to keep all the areas but change the layout, for instance in storage town you can add an area that incorporates shipment or put items you can mantle or interact with in the containers. FOr that matter we can add former maps into warzone, instead of all the multi remasters add remasters maps into the giant warzone map... And you can alternate adding former multi maps into verdansk periodically, i honestly dont care if it ties into a story or not as long as the gameplays fun. Lets put Nuketown in pom, contraband near the beaches and get rid of array.... cause wtf is array??? Hell put hijacked at port and put stairs that lead to every roof... I mean why should ppl be able to camp at the atc tower with no way up?? Or put contracts you can only drop on when falling at the beggining of the game? ANd for that matter why isn't swimming a thing yet?? They had swimming, reactive cammos, mastercrafts, jump trails, and death effects for all guns on bo4 and warzone is barely getting on that bandwagon.
I could probably write more ideas for how to improve the game, but this was just off the top of my head. What other perks or ways to improve the game can yall think of? Other than the obvious add an anti-cheat lol.
Impossible. I used the cheating software to get back at the cheaters and they have cheats with hardware spoofers so they dont get their account or hardware banned

Lol so basically redo the whole game it's dry there's no activity from devs but that's cod. Everything u asked for is quite literally a full revamp it's honestly sad that there's that much to change just for the game to be fun again-no playable i personally never liked warzone after the first month it was too passive for me but ik the game would fall sooner or later and not even cause it was bad but cause Activision is in control...so yeah that's my take on it
@@oz5968 I just wrote a list of suggestions off the top of my head, I dont think i put anywhere that they should change the whole game lol. Some of what i put were aesthetic changes, or things that pc already has that console doesn't. Other additions were to add variety. Games like fortnite do it all the time, adding an element could change the gameplay without having to change the whole game lol. Its a way of refreshing an older game, zombies also found huge success with this by adding new perks or easter eggs. Adding a new movement perk in the warzone system could be fun and new. Point being the game is prolly the best BR but it needs something to revamp and make it fresh again.

JGOD explained the cycle that cheaters create. Basically the ban waives just make it look like the game is getting new players, when the cheaters create new accounts. The game is tired and playing it is a real slog. I only played plunder and there were cheaters in every other game. There were cheaters in rebirth in rebirth as well. Itâs depressing really as this could be one of the best multiplayer games ever released.
To be honest the hackers are not the problem... having no anti cheat is the problem. I hope more hackers come so that Activision will actually do something. I hate hackers but just cuz there are a few hackers doesn't make hacking ok in warzone. They need to stop all of them completely. If the game is completely unplayable then they will have to do something.

I truly believe the dip in viewership is always temporary for big streamers when switching major titles. But by you making this video you probably helped other content creators decide they should play what they want not what they think people want. Good on you sir! I started playing warzone at day one. I quit playing 6 months ago, I would stay up all night after an update just to have the new guns leveled up so I could use them in warzone. But after awhile I realized I was paying to grind for those guns each month then there would be no incentive other than to win games. I have preordered Battlefield 2042 and I play BF4 and Enlisted until open beta launches.

However, the amount of content, pales in comparison to the happiness you have while playing. Warzone has been massive for so many of us, to the point it felt like there really wasn't anything else to play right now. Do what makes you HAPPY! You have access to an incredible amount of people between the massive names you play games with. As a guy with less than 20 followers on my own twitch, allow me to ask you this. Haven't bought a Call of Duty game since Black Ops 3. Tired of them expecting us to spend $60 on a sub par game every year. The franchise as a whole has become so lazy its insane.
The capped FOV was why pretty much every gamer I know, including myself, never got on the Warzone train.

First week of season 7 in a nutshell
Felt like half the map died to a hole
I have recently noticed my attitude in my home life was drastically different. Short fuse, intolerance and explosive. I stopped playing warzone for good 3 days ago and started queuing for up to 2 hours to play splitgate. I turned off the game after playing with the boys last night and almost broke out in tears over how amazingly normal I felt, which was bolstered by my wife confirming I was much more like my old self over the last few days. I had no idea that a video game (which I loved) would actually effect my mental health. But undoubtedly it did. I can personally vouch that you have made the right decision in spacing from warzone.
More streamers need to do this...I want to get back to the age of creators playing a variety of games. Thank you for being brave enough to do this

Iâve spent hundreds on Warzone and not having an actual anticheat in a triple a game is just a slap in our faces. I am enjoying the hell out of you guys learning to play one of my favorite games of all time. And looking forward to the future and all that it brings!

Iâve been saying this forever, activion just doesnât care. They have never cared about their community and have never worked with them to better the game. ppl have been screaming for a ranked mode since like bo3.They only see these games as money grabs
Yh warzone could be good if they balanced weapons, added anti cheat and just listened to the community. They should also put more attention to multiplayer as well since that isn't fun as well

Hey Courage this may sound fun if you want a game that has a end goal. Itâs Escape from Tarkov and even tho the game can be ridiculously unfair at some point. But the âtaskâ standpoint makes up for it because even after my 2 wipe. Hearing that quest complete music is so motivational. So if you want a game that is a little grindy and also realistic then you should 100% try it. Just donât rage to hard cause if you die, everything in your character is left on your body for others to grab(unless you insure your gear).
I can't believe no other BR has implemented a Loadout or Gulag mechanic. I genuinely think those two aspects are why warzone was so incredibly popular. Not having to completely rely on RNG floor loot is huge when it comes to enjoyment.
A lot of people consider versatility as one of the skills for battle royales and not everyone wants the entire lobby playing the same 4 guns that are considered meta at any given time. From a dev standpoint giving people load outs are an easy way to cop out and not balance your guns. Who cares if a large portion of the guns are so bad theyâre unusable? Just get to a load out drop and stop complaining

Love this so much, pointing out so many flaws with the game thatâs so many other people feel the same way and just want more of it more in each season with a new map not just the same map but setting a different year I love what you said in this you hit the nail on it love your content keep it up!

đĄLike a Buy Station, you approach it but instead you sell your weapon, ammo, killstreaks, equipment, etc for cash! And then you use that cash to letâs say buy a teammate back or you sold your weapon and some ammo for a UAV or Self Revive?!đĄ

I've played warzone maybe 5 times in the last 6 months and it's refreshing to play other games but actually fun (for a few hours) to hop back on warzone here ans there without playing it constantly.
idk how anyone could play warzone as their main game for over 1 or 2 months
I took a Break from Warzone and stayed away for about 6 Weeks.
I came back this Week for the new season and the first game in, we run into a Quad Team of Rage-Hackers. We played another 5 games and every single one had at least one team of Cheaters... Unplayable

TL DR Really interesting video.... I dont know much about Streamer Mode beyond what I just researched. but here we go... Streamer mode could help in Warzone. But If im not mistaken... In fortnite you can just hide your name in one option and another option hide other players name. Funny because I rarely ever speak out against more options. But I think to be fair in games, there should only be one option: so Streamer Mode would hide your name and other players name. It helps balance it out. I know streamers maybe might not like that, but everyone benefits from that. Or another option could be having similar to the two fortnite options + 3rd option to have it so you can block your name from just those using Streamer Mode. Because for me at least, I don't want thousands of worked up 9 yr olds knowing my screen name and bothering me if I showed up in a streamers game. But its mostly because I usually don't want my gameplay broadcasted beyond those in the match/game.
Playing games you enjoy in turn makes it enjoyable for us to watch you play.

Activision is so evil. Literally every game they have made has the least amount of content they can put out. They donât even try anymore. Cod mobile, warzone, Cold War, and MW barely have content. Yes over time they added maps and weapons but still they should new maps to play every 3-4 months.
Not to mention they rush all of there games too and add content later.

"and they don't feel the love back" I really felt that I've been playing different games as well cz of sbmm and the cheaters it sucks because I truly love cod but the playr base and all the other issues just makes me feel no love or even enjoyment back
Courage im going to be honest I first heard of you as a streamer for Fortnite and kept up with your channel and streams ever since.
I loved all your contact because most of it depends on you and how you make the game fun with your friends and you are a true content creator, one of the best. I have stopped playing Warzone as a gamer because it wasn't worth it in my opinion. Cheater with super high k/d always ruin the game to me even though I suck at it but have fun.
Warzone turned into a game for cheaters to me now. The amount of cheaters it has and the fact they need to be banned manually all the time makes me see how bad this game was and how much low work is done.
I see mostly progress on weapon skins to buy but as a gamer trying on a new account I failed to see any motivation not to mention the lack of things to have in the game.
Like Fortnite updates the map every week or two with new challenges and new stuff to do. Apex rotstates maps and so on. Warzone became a game what wth big stuff is the first day of new season to me.
So I approve everything you said and support you. Whatever you play, whatever you stream or upload I'll watch and like forever my man.
