They should add a option to press a switch and have the balloons be deflated and hit it to re-inflate them
The wrench! They need to add its functions to the channels that the wrench can assign.
Also, could use some more function channels than just the three.

Only add enough balloons to take some of its weight, but not enough so it flies. Then use thrusters for lift, and put them on the same channel as the forward thrusters, so you still have two channels for steering. The balloons let it land gently. You just need a bit of clear space in front of you when you take off, but not that much. If you get the balance right and have the thrusters in the right places, and the right number of thrusters for lift and propulsion, you can climb pretty damn steep.
Or you could have independent thrusters for lift, and split the forward thrusters to the left and right sides, but it's harder to land then, cus you can't turn as well.
But you could always build runways for all your villages. And you can land on the sea, too.
You just shoot down the balloons
There is a better way. You use thrusters on the bottom of aircraft to lift up off the ground, and i split thrusters that propel you forward between two channels(left and right). Once you add just enough balloons to keep you level but not off the ground, you can fly a plane completely functional. You can take off the ground, turn left and right, and land back on the ground, where you can still drive if you wanted too.

Do not put anything in chests that you aren’t willing to lose. Chests+Vehicles are sketchy at best.

Sweet new aircraft! I suggest try to move your steering thrusters out on the wings so they look good and just line up with the thrusters you already placed on the wings. They will work just as effectively for turning. Looking forward to your next build!

I’ve made a really quick like it takes a minute for my simple one but it dosent turn so thanks I could just add a thruster on each side with a channel to turn thanks!

To land o guess the knly way is to pop bslloons or weigh it down with the crafting table or similar ready made machines
Can someone make a list of materials so i can get it all before i start building it, except the chest i don't have those unlocked + their expensive
I Counted it myself:
10 flexwood
3 flexwood rods
3 planks
13 torches
6 glass
2 granite
6 cords
Grand Chest: 16 frost pine 8 iron
14 wooden rods
8 blast powder
6 silk fabric
Optional Thrusters(not including previous thrusters):
18 Wood rods
12 blast powder
6 torches
I can easily place this crafty tells the community duplication glitches so it's really easy to get granite cords and planks

One simply has to wish for an anchor to come bc it's so frustrating having to destroy the balloons and pick the materials on the ground, and the box that's already in the game is trash

Large drivers seat is best cuase if you destroy it you clone the resources due to a dupe bug with it
Alittle tip I don’t know if you know the pickaxe has the strongest buildable damage and it is the most accurate of mining tools meaning if you sim you won’t hit anything else
I had done that a few times and hit the wrong blocks and destroyed many aircraft’s so now I use my fists 😂

bru I am making my own now, and its starting to go well! balancing is a tad strange, and there 100% should be a 4th channel. there also needs to be higher end charms, and epics of every biome type. this kinda all feels unfinished compared to like Minecraft ftb, or satisfactory. but we can fly in this one!
How did the landing go? How did you land it?
Just as you normally landed aircraft’s before you pop one large balloons and you add weight as needed.
