The joys of manuals and having the turbos right next to the gearbox/clutch as keeps a lot of heat down there so takes longer to cool down. But already great improvements made on the time slip
You’re doing fantastic! Stick shift stuff isn’t easy at all, but you’re doing it! There’s a whole bunch of breaking stuff and blowing through clutches until you find the right parts for your power level, and even then, stick shift cars still break a lot of stuff 🤣

stalled th400 with a brake, run 90/10's in the front get some weight transfer going. deep 10's low boost easy

You’ll get there! You just need more wheel speed during your burnout to get it going better. As far as your clutch issues, I highly recommend a monster clutch!

Turbo stick cars are really hard to figure out the sweet spot. There's a ton more left in the car. Really good clutch with the right tires is soooo important. Took me a minute on a turbo car to get good passes.

Put a powerglide in it two-speed or 3-speed powerglide
I know what you mean about being out of your comfort zone. I always was super nervous and for some reason it’s very stressful lol. Took my heads/cam GTO and quickly found out that I needed a better tire lol. Granted this was like 10 years ago by now. Have a modded 2014 ctsv now, never took it to the track.

You need to put it automatic boost controller and a trans brake on it and won't nobody be able to stop that car
Big ups for trying your best...if i could give you a couple pointers i would try 2nd gear on your burnout...and on your launch try to preload basically hold the ebrake let the clutch out until you feel the car start to load up and then launch as you would...also you could move the 2 step button to your hand brake or some ppl have it on the clutch pedal...i think those things would help alot good luck to you... oh n 100% you got a 10sec car keep trying

Can you post a time slip from your best pass? What tire pressure you running?
What kind of clutch did you have? I have the McLeod 1200rxt and I am happy with it. Tick performance makes a master cylinder with a remote bleed which is key for me.

I would of been surprised if that fixed itself, it was slipping since last track day.

Once you get everything sorted out it should be in the 10’s easily. my zl1 will run 11.00 on drag radials, your car is lighter and has at least 150hp on me 😆.

She needs a trans brake button on the steering wheel, or she should try break boosting holding the brake then launching,
Or a MONSTER 6 puck clutch. I say 4L80 or TH400. I’m 10.70s. NA 416. TH 400
I don't recall what clutch is in it but do you plan on swapping that one out for something else?
When you get a good clutch & go back try not even using the 2step at first, don't over complicate things at first. You shouldn't even need to use the 2step i wouldn't think.
Get T400 & trans break .. with that you'll be in 10s 4 sure

It's hard to say this I love Manuel I did it for a few years building my camaro. Ran 11s. Changed the real 488 400 turbo trans maxed with a 3500 stall speed converter. Slap stick shift. Ran mid 10s. Best thing no more burning clutches. Unless you time your shifting 100% all the time. Then go for it. Your timing is off shifting. Get a simulator racing game it will help.
