Tell Hubby that was a great idea he came up with ingenious
What a treasure you're given! Those items deserves to be displayed! You're right! They look fantastic! đđđ
One of the rollers is a sugar cookie roller, one is a cookie press for designs on shortbread cookies and the other looks to be a hot chocolate mixer used in Spain and Mexico. All are fantastic!
Totally agree with your ID.
Yes! Hot chocolate mixer! I knew I've seen it before too!
I thought some of the same things as she was showing them. About them being cookie roller and different things like that
I find it very hard to get rid of stuff. The worst part is the more I get rid of the more I seem to have đ€Ș
I collect rolling pins. I have my grandma's 1870 lefsa rolling pin that was my great great grandma's. Anytime someone I love passes I only ask for their rolling pin. I have not figured out how to display them.
That looks so beautiful with the glass shade. What treasures. The bowls are so beautiful. What a generous lady. They are all your colors.
We are kindred spirits.....clean on the outside but don't look in my closets.đ€Ł She would be so happy how you displayed them.
Tessie, I'm sure you brought as much joy to this woman as she did to you just by knowing you treasure her gifts! She gave from the heart and you received her gift....
Those are some nice rolling pins and baking bowl đ”
What a wonderful gift! She could not have found a better home for her collection than you Tessie, I know you will take good care of them and love them. I love the oil lamps and the rolling pins but those blue bowls are really special. I would figure out some way to display them and not keep them hidden away in a cupboard. You were so Blessed. HaHa--I had already posted my comment about not keeping the bowls in the cupboard and then you added what you did--Put them on display, I love it!!
What a blessing!!
For her to get ahold of you again, shows that she trusts you with her treasures! đ
I agree!
Oh, those bowls truly are beautiful! The older we get, the heavier the bowls get to our frail hands. That might be why the generous lady gave them away. So sweet of her!
Good Evening Tessie, Sisters, Brothers, and Friends:-) Be sure to hit that like Button Tessie will appreciate it Greatly :-)
Hi Owen and Michael lots of love đ
@@MichaelR58 Hi Michael 58 :-) Stay safe and healthy my friend :-) God Bless !
@@foreverlovely2580 Hi Forever Lovely :-) đ
Good evening Owen
@@juliewebber2749 Good evening julie webber :-)
Good for you Tessie, you deserve to be blessed
What a great find! Everyone wants their treasures to go to someone who will love them and you will.
How wonderful! I'm always telling people about the "God Things" He blesses me with. It may be as simple as hearing a bird song or as big as getting a new washing machine for free. He's always blessing me. Seems the more I tell, the more He blesses.
You are the right person for those beautiful bowls and rolling pins you bake and cook every day
That nice lady may ever know just what a great place and what an appreciation you have for her generous gifts
The bowls are gorgeous the brown and blueâ€
This lady really knew how to take care of things! Absolutely amazing, Tessie. When you first showed us the bowls, I was thinking "Those are really works of art. And in perfect condition." I'm so glad that your eventual solution put them on display so beautifully.
The woman who gave them away really must have recognized how much you love those items and would cherish and appreciate them. I'm SO glad you and hubby were able to make it there in time to get both collections of wonderful things. The lamps are real treasures, and so are the rolling pins. I'm wondering whether that one unusual rolling pin was used to put a pretty decorative edge on pie crusts just before the pie was meant to go into the oven,
Regardless, this was one terrific adventure. And to think it was all free. You're right. Someone up there really is watching out for you. (And don't be embarrassed. I have cupboards that make yours look like Martha Stewart's!)
The hardest thing in giving away stuff you've collected is finding someone who will appreciate it as much as you do. I think that's why so many people hang on to stuff they don't need. You blessed her as much as she blessed you, and I love how you displayed them in the end.
I love how excited and thankful for everything you got from that generous lady!
Awesome to see you so excited, and I'm sure the woman who gifted these was over-the-moon to find you, someone who truly loves the collection.
I can't think of someone more appreciative than you Tessie. I love your excitement.
Who loves Tessie Time :-)
Every time!
The giver must feel blessed that you, who will love and use these wonderful items, came along at exactly the right time. Blessings!
Tessie you really scored with all those rolling pins, kerosene lamps and those BOWLS. I am so happy you were the person who received them because I KNOW you will love and treasure them! Not coincidence, God-incidence!! đ
And here I thought I was the only one who gets excited over a great find like this! I understand the mindset behind your "collection." In the times we are in, the supply issues, you just can't go buy more of certain things or replace them. Don't be too hard on yourself about that. Enjoy Tessie! :)
Oh, WOW! How exciting to get those awesome items, and for FREE!!! I am so happy for you, Tessie, they are beautiful!!!!!
Iâm so glad you decided to display all that beautiful pottery and I hope you get many years of use out of them.
Christmas has come early in your house. I was wondering how you would be able to store so many things.
Your đBeautiful Blue Bowlsđ are a Blessing...
Awww Tessie those are such WONDERFUL BLESSINGS to have. I was so hoping you displayed them in the open. The shelf looks BEAUTIFUL and you got your cupboards cleaned out and organized!
Beautiful display. Such a place of honor for that fabulous collection. I'm jealous
The scroll wood pieces are hot chocolate mixers ...botte botte chocolatte....from Spain or Mexico...twirl in between palms
Good evening Tessie and familyđđŒđâ€ïž
WOW!!!! What a blessing!! I have a love antique things as well, so happy she gifted them to you.
Those bowls! My jaw dropped when you showed them to us. And you managed to make a lovely display of everything. Well done!
Those bowls were beautiful! I bet the lady is happy knowing she's passing them to someone who appreciates them. Loved the rollers, too!
Beautiful awesome job tessie
Oh wow, what a kerosene lamp! What a wonderful treasure with everything. I think as I am growing older I realize it's not just a coincidence, it's a blessing from God. I'm learning to remember to be open to the miracles in my life, little and small and big. I just love how God blesses me! It's a joy!
I love terracotta items. Girl you hit the jackpot. Congrats
How fantastic that you were able to get such wonderful treasures. It was just meant to be that you are now the caretaker of a piece of history!!
Oh Tessie you are as bad as me đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł. One day people want you to change, next day God blesses you abundantly and says âTessie do it your way itâs what all people of mine should doâ. I was about to make my pastry for my apple pie and today and I stopped for coffee and saw this. What joy is in my day. Those rolling pins are to make patterns on your pie tops, you will have so much fun. The more you give of yourself to Him the more blessings will come your way. God bless you and Ken, this house of two oldies love you both. đđ¶đ”đ«đđ
Enjoyable video! Finishing with your granddaughters in front of that magnificent azalea Bush was the icing on the cake! đ
I think this lady knows you will love her things. The bowls are beautiful.
Tessie, you have such a sweet soul. Your home is lovely and cozy
Such a beautiful curated collection, I am so glad they were meant for you, heaven sent by the generous angel older women
Oh Tessie I like this much better displaying them instead of hiding them . Awesome
Aww! Displaying those blue bowls in that bookcase is really beautiful. They sure deserved a special place. đ
I knew you would be pleased for meâŠI found a brand new dehydrator at a thrift store for $12!!! So happy and blessed!
Sheila that is amazing !!!
I love how you used a bookshelf to display those beautiful bowls. You really do have a talent for show casing things in their best light.
Nice picture of the grandkids. So happy for you with the rolling pins and bowls! It was a good day for you. Have a great evening everyone!
You too, julie!
I love the way you displayed all your blessings. Bravo, great find & beautiful SCORE!!!
It does feel like coming home :)(:
Looks beautiful I love how you displayed the bowl's and pins!! Sweet granddaughter's at the end so beautiful you are blessed!
Oh Tessie! You really gave me giggles! Your excitement is contagious and I am over the moon happy for you to receive these treasures!!â€ïž
She must be really happy to know that someone else will cherish and enjoy her treasures.
Valerie in SC
I needed to make more room so my husband put hooks on the wall for my not cast iron pans to hang on made lots of space
Love all of your treasures! There is something about the warm fuzzy feel you get when you use the treasured items each and every time. The display turned out beautiful,
Tessie, that lamp on the kitchen table is to die for!! It looks soooooo good there! You really lucked out with everything!! đđđ»đ
ive been slowly making room for more practical stuff as i go through things too
You were the right person to receive all those items!!!
I love pottery bowl and rolling pins. I am so glad that you were blessed with these. I love how you displayed them all!
Wow Tessie what a goldmine you were able to receive today. Those items couldn't have gone to a better home. A home where they are well cared for and appreciated. Love Ken's idea for storing/displaying them. They look fantastic.
So very beautiful Tessie, I love how you decided to display them. They look perfect on that book shelf and out in the world for everyone to see.
Congratulations! You deserve all of those gorgeous bowls! Iâm sure the lady is SOOO VERY HAPPY to have found someone who will treasure her treasures â€ïž.
Thank you so much!
Hi Tessie! Wow! Oh Wow! I love everything that the woman gave you!!! Congratulations!!! I collect bowls and I love all of those bowls!!! My kitchen is much smaller than yours. I have fewer cabinets also. God answered my prayer!! I prayed that He would bless you in a special way. God is blessing you and it makes me happy!! You have beautiful granddaughters.
Martha Stewart, would be so happy to have those bowls in her kitchen, they are beautiful, and I love the rolling pins! No problem with having "stuff" we never use, it is good to give away those things for another person to enjoy!
Attachment, and useful! The blue and white set of mixing bowls by pyrex (when you held it up and said "remember these, these were mum's") are sooo nice! And they are worth money! ...but more importantly they are very useful! Love how you have your embroidery over your display! I'm a member of a local Facebook group that's for anyone willing to give things away for free, rather than throwing it away and it's great to find things you might need or want rather than it being thrown.
Great score Tessie!!x
Oh the display is wonderful. I adore it. You got the country cottage going. I†it. Great job.
I oh so identify! I love old stuff from my Grandmas. I was born in Red Wing, MN. One of the largest stoneware and pottery businesses started there in the 1880s. And I think my umbilical cord never got cut to there. So I have a lot of stoneware crocks, water coolers and bowls and even dinnerware from there. My sister says I need to join Crocks Annymous. I too use my stuff.
No one more deserving than you - enjoy those beautiful treasures!!! đ
Wow! What a great find! Sugar cookies, shortbread, and all kinds of goodies! God bless, dearheart.
All the pins are beautiful! But to me, the most beautiful rolling pin is the darker skinnier longest one. Used to stretch doughs when making pastry that call for many layers. First, you roll your dough ball out (with a regular spinning rolling pin), then you take the thinner longer one and actually roll the dough onto the pin and then unroll the dough off the pin. You do this many times until the dough is almost transparent and large. Then you fold the dough which gives you the many layers. You would do this for making croissants or danish sweet pastries. Youâve hit the jackpot with those bowls too. What a blessing!
Yes and noodles
Tessie could I send a package of treats from Hawaii that you could gift to the woman who gifted you? Her pins bowls and lanterns were the best gift I have ever seen..like an inheritance....I have started a box for you but feel the urge to bless the blessing!
Yes you can
Oh, how wonderful of you, what an awesome thing to do!
That is so nice.
@@HomesteadTessie I am not so tech savvy but is your address or po box under the title? I really felt the urge to bless her with treats from far away......so you can see how much.....and how many, many miles your sweet countenance touches those so far away ......your coming home videos touch the entire world! TESSIE YOU ARE THE BLESSING!
I no longer have a po box But You can email me for my address homesteadtessie@gmail.com
Really great idea to switch up everything. Awesome cleaning. Inspiring.
Oh Tessie the food you cook in those bowls will even taste so much better . Pay attention to the flavor of your meals made with those bowls you are definitely
Beautiful lamps, bowls and rolling pins! One of my cupboards could be a twin of yours đ I love what you did with them!
Oh Tessie a wonderful lady to just give these things away. I have a collection of rolling pins and yours are very old. Oh my what a treasure to get these Gorgeous bowls. That lady must trust you with her precious piece and that is why she can give them away to you. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I Love, Love, Love where you put those bowls that is the perfect place. It made me Happy to see you so excited. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed day and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. đđđŠ
Honey that not bad at all it just lots of treasureâs â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž my Tupperware cabinet looks just like that. I collect old Tupperware and I donât want to toss out any of it.
Love the bread bowl it's beautiful and all those pretty bowls too glad you got all that stuff
Perfect display. That big oil lamp is gorgeous.
If I am not mistaken, the lamp is called an Aladin Lamp. It is a brass lamp that has been plated with nickle, originally they were brass and as styles changed they nickel-plated them to make them go with different decorating trends of the time. It also uses a mantle instead of a wick. They give off a much brighter light
Yes thatâs what I was thinking also. I was pretty sure the tall glass lamp was an Aladdin lamp. Glad to see someone else think the same. đ
Tesse Iâm so excited for you! I truly believe the lady knew she was giving the items she treasured to someone who would also treasure them! Not only that but now you can gift your old bowls to someone else! Enjoy Godâs blessings!â€ïžđ
You totally scored! I can't even stop staring at those blue bowls. And that white bowl that holds all of those rolling pins đ goodness... That's amazing
Tessie what a lovely gift. Those bowls! And the giver must have known you appreciated the rolling pins and the oil lamps, and the bowls would be in good hands and a good heartđ. But I also love those bowls your mom had, they are the glass ones. I have a couple myself.
I'm so envious. I have an obsession with old wooden cutting boards and rolling pins. And the bonus container! What a score! You are indeed blessed. The oil lamps are so nice!
The lollipop looking one is for Mexican hot chocolate.
What a great score!
Hang the bowls with handles and keep small items inside. Youâll have a beautiful display of bowls and lots of places to hide small things that you just donât have space for.
I don't know why freecycle isn't as popular these days
Politics, I won't get too deep at this subject for obvious reasons :)
Right?
Beautiful displays!!! That stainless lamp is awesome too!! Treasures, you've been given treasures! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
The designed rolling pin is for putting designs on shortbread cookies.
I love the display. I bet the lady was so happy to have her things go to someone who would enjoy them so much.
Very cool!!
Awesome looks great! What a blessing!
Love the new bowl display. I bet most of have a cupboard or two we want anyone we didnât know seeing them. You were truly blest by the lady that gave you all of those nice things. I hope God blesses her for being so generous.
The decorative ones are for rolling fancy dutch pastries, the one with the tapered red handles is identical to the one my Granny used and she got it when she married in 1906.
I absolutely love it! Great job hubby for using the shelf to display those beautiful bowls. Tessie, you hit the jackpot! đđđŸđđżâ€ïžâźïž
Beautiful glazing on the bowls. Love the bread bowl and the rolling pins. What a Blessing for you to have this lady give them to you.
You are just the cutest thing ever in this video trying not to show us your cupboards! Your facial expressions and putting your hands behind your back are priceless. Love the blue bowls!!!
Beautiful Display of your new bowls and rolling pins.
Your home is Beautiful Tessie !
Thank You for sharing đđ»đđ»
Have a Wonderful Day đđ»đ»đ
Oh I love the final display, so much better than stuffing those beautiful bowls in a cupboard!! Great find!!
