I feel what you are saying about creativity. I got most creative when I felt the worst and in order to get rid of the emotional pain I put everything into my art. From my own experience the more I got my life emotionally under control the less I had the urge to create. Secondly, I had the feeeling that the art I was creating in that state of well-being was pretty mediocre and not in that intensity I was used to. I still do not have the perfect solution but the first thing that helped me was giving up coffee on a daily basis since coffee enhances anxiety and emotions, at least for me. The only time I drink coffee is when I'm about to create something completly new (prob once a week). This helps me to create the idea and have a strong connection to my inner emotions. I only then really know what the art should look like and what is important. The processing that takes most of the time can be done in a state of well-being. I can't tell if you are similar wired as me but maybe it helps you somehow. Since the video is aready 3 years old let me know whether you found a solution for yourself. At the end of the day it is always the question whether it's worth it to create art and suffer or live a comfortable live but creating mediocre art or stopping completly. I really can't tell...
