It's probably the best sitcom that's mainly centered around a married couple. Some people like everybody loves Raymond more but honestly that show is boring.

Because she always wears very timeless pieces that you can still wear in 100 years. Jeans, cardigans, blouses etc.
Because nobody is trying to file it under "Cross Dressing" or make it stick as a bad memory. "That outfit makes you look like you gained 50 pounds." "My friend was buried in a similar outfit. He was on all the drugs." Things along that nature.
Im 24 and this show came out when i was a kid. And then ended when i was still a kid. But i absolutely love watching reruns on TV LAND

She was sweet the first 2 seasons, then Leah got preggers and hormonal and incorporated more of that into the role...don't get me wrong she is awesome but its also because as their relationship went on, Doug's lying and scheming probably started to get to her, but she also was the same way with him a few times, and also they teamed up alot too; they were more alike then different hence why their marraige worked. I always loved the episodes where Carrie is initially disgusted by Doug's behavior then just follows suit :)

That TV was probably nice in 1998 but looks like old junk today. Goes to show that things are just things.
Lots of funny moments and good writing. There's something about the characters though that have always creeped me out. Aurthur is basically the same as his Seinfeld character but I can't laugh at Altzheimers. Spencer sleeps in the same room as his mother?? Nuff said there.
I'm glad they changed Carrie's personality from a simple submissive house wife to a more bossy wife that creates tension in the relationship.

I liked this show for a little while but it seemed to get worse each season, not sure how it made it to 9 seasons. I know the ratings slowly declined with each season and it got more expensive to produce. I always thought Kevin James and Leah Remini's characters didn't have enough of chemistry and it seemed like as the show went on, you almost got the impression that they would divorce or something, Carrie never seemed real happy with Doug as the show went on. They had their happy moments but seemed like she was disgusted or disappointed with him a lot. It may have been the way they tried to portray the characters personalities but I just didn't agree with that way of writing the characters. They kept adding more characters to the show I guess because the ratings were dropping and they needed more source material, but it only made it worse in my opinion. If the main 2 stars can't carry the show, then you are in trouble.
Everybody loves Raymond was the same way with Debra. She was always aggravated with him. usually for stupid reasons. First Seasons King of Queen Carrie and Doug do seem happy but I still loved the show the whole way through!

Yeah, At least on "The Honeymooners" it would always usually end with "Baby you're the Greatest", but I think Carrie and Doug carried the show just fine. It was a funny show. I cannot remember because I saw the ending of the show briefly in reruns..Do Carrie and Doug stay together til the end?
@@m.e.d.7997 Yes they do and they end up having 2 children ( adopting one ) and Arthur ( who had got married ) moves back in with them in the finale after his marriage doesn't work out.

I watched a lot of King of queens clips due to the passing of Jerry stiller, but in all honesty I can't find any of it remotely funny.

It’s ok to not find it funny. Humor is subjective. There’s some popular shows that I can’t even last through an episode because I don’t find them enjoyable. But with this show, I’ve watched it in its entirety so many times and it still makes me laugh 😆
