  • In this tutorial, you will learn How to Download and Use Your Twitter Archive. It can be helpful to save your Twitter archive which includes your tweets, replies, list, media, followers, following, direct message, and more.
    The downloaded archive is in the form of a zipped folder which includes the HTML file of your Twitter archive, a data folder and an assets folder. The HTML file allows you to view your Twitter account from your computer.
    It has various sections to view your account information, tweets, replies, direct messages, followers and following. However, for some information, you do require to be logged into your Twitter account. The Data folder includes your Tweets media like images, GIFs and videos. It also includes several JavaScript files that can be opened using the NotePad app.
    To download your Twitter archive, you need to first request it via your Twitter account. In this video, I walk you through the whole process step-by-step and also show you how to use the Twitter archive.

    This Twitter tutorial includes two main parts. The first part is how to request and download your Twitter archive. The second part is how to use your Twitter archive. So, if you want to skip to the second part go directly to the 2:37 minute mark. Hope this helps...cheers!

      Hi there, yes, I believe you should be able to search your tweets using the archive, even after you've deleted your Twitter account.

      Hi there, you're welcome! What is the error message you're getting? Also, do you know how large the Twitter archive is?

      My main issue is that I want to undo some sensitive retweets I made some time ago but I can't do it because the account handler has blocked and I can't see the retweets on my profile but any of my followers can still see them. I will be glad if you have any useful tips to work around this.

      Hi there, you may need to check your "Sensitive Content" settings in your Twitter account and make sure it's turned ON.
      To do so: (1) log into your Twitter account; (2) click on MORE (in the left-side panel); (3) choose "Settings and Privacy"; (4) then go to the "Privacy and Safety" section; (5) in this section (in the right panel) go to the section called "Content you see"; (6) finally, make sure to check the box for "Display media that may contain sensitive content".
      Hope this helps and works for you...cheers!

    do you know how to deal with an issue with the likes post not showing but it shows you have like post in numbers

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před měsícem

      Hi Leon, On June 11th Elon Musk and Twitter announced that Likes will now be private. So, it could be related to this recent change.

      @AnthonyGodinho  Před měsícem

      @leonjenkins5741 can you please clarify the issue you're experiencing? Are you saying that you have "liked" Twitter posts and you can't see the posts, but it only displays the number of posts you've liked?

    • @leonjenkins5741
      @leonjenkins5741 Před měsícem

      @@AnthonyGodinho yes it says I have 5000 likes but I'm not able to view them it doesn't appear even when I refresh.

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před měsícem

      @leonjenkins5741 So, I'm assuming you're on your own Twitter profile (logged in) and when you go to the Likes tab, it doesn't display any of the tweets you liked, but only shows the number (in this case, 5,000)?
      If so, that's odd indeed. I just checked my own Twitter profile (right now) and it shows all of my liked tweets, with a message at the top, "Your likes a private. Only you can see them."
      Are you using the web version or the mobile app? I'm using the web version (on Firefox browser Windows 10) and I have no issues seeing all my liked tweets. It could be related to the browser or app or perhaps some privacy settings in your Twitter account.

    Hey how you doing. How do I get back the likes that I unlike them because i cant open the files on the computer don’t know why

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 21 dnem

      Hi there, I'm good, thank you and hope you are too! In terms of your question on how to check your liked tweets. If you downloaded our Twitter Archive before you unliked the tweets, then you should be able to open the JavaScript file called "like" or "like-part1" and see the links of the tweets you liked. To open the JavaScript files, you can use NotePad. In this tutorial, I showed how to open JavaScript files using NotePad. Hope this helps...cheers!

      @@AnthonyGodinhoHi how are you can you check the tweets that were privated but later deleted?

    • @AnthonyGodinho
      @AnthonyGodinho  Před 20 dny

      @scarlet_bitch5501 Hi there, I'm not a 100% sure if the Twitter Archive includes private or protected tweets. I personally don't have any protected or private tweets, but I think they are part of the Twitter archive. So, if you downloaded your Twitter Archive before deleted the private tweets, you can check the archive folder.

      Hi there, unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to view your watch history on Twitter. Even the downloaded Twitter Archive file doesn't have it.
