Sorry for all of the background noise. You can hear someone arguing outside, my dog panting as he stares at me and my other dog drinking water like it’s the first rainfall after a drought. Now you guys know why I always do voiceovers! lol. Back to recording in the middle of the night.
So many of you guys were interested in these dupe brushes after I posted a short clip on IG on them @makeupbydenise. Well the review is finally up! I hope it’s helpful for anyone debating on whether or not to pick up these new, trendy brushes.

Thank you for this review. I have been trying to figure out the brushes and if I should purchase them. I may not use all of them but they seem to come in handy for blending like you said.

I just got mine yesterday and I really like them, I was so confused cuz I wasn't sure exactly what to do with each brush but this really clears it up😋

I purchased these from Amazon also I only use them for foundation, setting powder and concealer the eye brushes are a little odd for me. But I have to say they blend and apply product beautifully. I was disappointed when I first opened the package because they are plastic but they work great I don't even use my other face brushes anymore.
where can I purchase the serum you applied on your face before the makeup ? I have very sensitive skin as well. it looked so moisturizing 😊

For applying the foundation and concealer you are supposed to put it on your face and bot directly on the brush so then you get the best coverage and it doesn't absorb the product also this vid was fully help ful!!

Hey babe. I get my hair professionally dyed. I ask for a medium brown base and a half head of highlights. Hope it helps
I got mine from Amazon and love them. They had really good reviews is why I tried them and I do not regret getting them and they are a cheap version of the more expensive ones. But I figure if they don't last as long as the more expensive ones then I can replace them 4 times a year if I have to and still come out cheaper!! I actually purchased that set with an extra brush included for $17. I purchased them on Amazon and they didn't come in a box. I like the way they work. I would like to feel the more expensive set to make a comparsion.
+Eileen Lee ditto. I'm assuming they are probably similar. Maybe a tad softer. But I'm sure the concept is the same
You aren't supposed to apply the product directly on the brush. You have to apply it to your face and then blend with a clean brush so the product doesn't seep into the bristles of the brush, it's just supposed to sit on top which is why they pack them so densely🙃

I have both sets of brushes, Artis and the Dupe. I have not yet used my Artis brushes. But just a suggestion, you are not suppose to put the product on the brushes to apply to face. And you are not suppose to lift the brush off of the face when applying foundation. No patting.

I add a small amount of the liquid foundation to the top of my hand. Yes, they are designed for liquid foundation. I love the oval brushes! I would use the big one for foundation and probably the smaller one for concealer, but that's it. I wouldn't have any use for the others
It soaked up the concealer you probably put too much on I have a dupe as well and it doesn't do that in fact it takes less product with full coverage
