Small correction, but Izel's "dad" isn't really his dad (or the twins'). He was just a warrior that briefly took in a young Izel and Nelli before ditching them. What happened to Izel's actual parents was actually going to be a big plot point in season 2.

Those are how the eyes of gods are drawn. Usually they are for the gods of death but you can sometimes see it on the war gods. And yeah they look a lot like Pokémon balls

I don't know anything about this show, and I'm only 49 seconds in, but something already looks off here.
Was this an American production? Because the artstyle looks like that generic knock-off anime that you get from stuff like Avatar. It's all watered down and bereft of personality, and looks like it was animated by overworked and underpaid Koreans.
