Aroma excels in grind games because of their continuous traps/field spell just constantly recurring and gaining life. Pair that with a lower power format and I can see why it did OK.
While Gardening is SR, other cards can keep then healthy, like Cauldron of the old man or the usual Aroma stuff
Ghostricks are the same way with recursion, all the flipping, and Mansion to halve all damage but Ghostrick battle damage. I had so many people surrender in the XYZ Festival.
@@motxmod I had to use Droplet on one of those that flips every monster to facedown as long as another Ghost is there... I ended up winning thanks to Utgarda's stanby phase banish, but you have to respect the ghostly fellas
Well yea until they draw lightning storm or harpies feather duster. I always run 3 lightning storm, double twin twister and one beanie feather duster. Becuase fuck eldlitch.

Giant Ballpark would be a great deck in this format. The entire engine is R or N, and sending Gokipole is a game ender against decks that don't have an answer
Anything can be a game ender when the opponent doesn't have an answer lol
Ballpark has a problem with consistency(because with resonance(adding effect) only good target being the kaiju due to doom dozer made sr), like maybe with a custom banlist it would be good, but for now battlewasp ballpark decks are an interesting choice, but surely not the best:(
You know, we do have a few ballpark lists
insect metalfoes has more options to search off Resonance Insect. You can pend summon Scary Moth, or get Anteatereatingant to eat two Combinations for two searches

6:16 - The craziest thing about Malevolent Sin is that it's one of only handful of *ALL* XYZ monsters that are Normal rarity, yet it's one of the best generic Rank 4 monsters among the Rares. I mean, fucking _Number 44: Sky Pegesus_ is a higher rarirty. *SKY PEGESUS!!!* That's just insulting. Especially since Sin can go into Number 77: The Seven Sins, which is _also_ only a Rare. Incidentally, I just finished a duel with it against Shaddols and made them surrender after summoning it.
Another crazy Normal one is Number 82: Heartlandraco. Not only is it also a Rank 4 generic material XYZ, it can attack directly for 2k, can't be attacked by your opponent if you have a face-up spell, and importantly, is a Number Dragon monster, so you can use it as a super cheap material to attach to Heart-eartH via the effect of Draglubion.
Geonator Transverser has been so useful that it's in every one of my decks save for Monarchs. The number of times I've taken a player's monster to turn the tables is ridiculous. Berserker of the Tenyi hasn't been _as_ good. But still, big man hit stronk.
Codebreaker cards are fucking awful most of the time, but Codebreaker Virus Swordsman is not only the strongest Link 2 card in terms of base attack. Not even in terms of low rarity cards! And this is a regular rare. FROM THE *LEGACY PACKS!!!* It also only requires two effect monsters, making it one of the easiest to summon, and can come back after being destroyed, _and_ has a link arrow pointing down for further plays.

I love Heart-eartH Dragon in Utopia decks as well. It's hilarious to drop in your opponent's End Phase with Dragner.
how would it get a material to use effect tho? I dont see anything on Dragner that mentions adding xyz material to summoned card. or are you just using it for the battle towers + damage?

Except with Twin Twister, some decks benefits from sending GY effect card to the GY
Really enjoy this format, there's a lot of stuff that's really cool in lower power formats and it's fun to watch.

2 things I wish they'd add in some form to MD.
The ability to trade like some other TCG online games do, and the ability to convert lower rarity dust into higher rarities.
Oh also the ability to get dust from legacy pack cards
People are going to create alts and trade over cards, it's not going to happen to Yugioh because Komoney.

Both make Komony less money, so most likely not. If they aren't budging on lowering the prices for gems, they're certainly not going to budge on either of those.
Issue with adding trading tho is many are just gonna make alt accounts to do said trading, which kills the point of it being a trade
I agree with converting dusts and ability to dust legacy pack cards (or at the very least give the option to dust extra card copies of legacy pack cards)

@@rogersrs9261 Pokemon tcg online actually does trading. Not everything is tradable tho I don't remember specifics but it does have trading. In fact you can even put up unopened booster packs for trade.
Along with having codes in almost all of their physical products like boosters and structure decks. Which is frankly another thing I think konami should do.

Just want to point out, Heart-eartH only has 2 printings, one as a an ultra and one as a ghost. They're fairly expensive at around 50 and 80 dollars respectively, and YA BOI OWNS ONE LETS GOOOO, STONKS

I actually plan to post weekly tournaments of it with a custom list.
My current Idea of it is to ban:
Number 97: Draglubion
Paleozoic Dinomischus
Torrential Tribute
Parralel Exceed
Tenyi Spirit-Vishuda
Planet Pathfinder
Parametalfoes Fusion
(hope to hear your thoughts, because these are just the ones I found problematic during multiple matches in different common charity rooms, but pls share with only the cards you find too good overall or for their archetypes, not the bosses of the decks, because yeah it is possible to kill many ones by banning their main monsters, f.e. metalfoes without Mithrilium lose a lot their grind game, but touching Parametalfoes Fusion, means that they still have access to it, but not as beneficially)
Though in the future, maybe it will be necessary to ban some, for the format to be fresh.
Is Pathfinder because of Pacifis? I feel that, Torrential and the Paleo is a hit to the veeeeery slow control decks that can pop up in the format, very interesting possible bans, might check out more Master Duel Common Charity

Pathfinder is due to making both Pacifis and Generaider engine too consistant, but without it, the question of consistency shows up. I participated in a few of similar tournaments, and the cards on the list were always amazing. But maybe some hits are too harsh?
I think this format should be explored much more with no different banlist yet.

In my Utopia deck I would play Heart Earth all the time, hyper rank up plus dagonar gives a free number monster which would be given 1 mat. Heart Earth just happened to be the funniest one to use.

I actually ran a variation of Dire's deck in the XYZ festival because I’m poor xD.
Plenty of interesting and powerful Rares and Normals.
NGL I'm surprised the Shark Xyz main deck is nothing but N and R cards. I used it on XYZ festival as well, but I needed a bunch of good Xyz monsters and a couple of Barrier Statues.

I personally would have played Unchained paleo. Unchained has a great resource loop that's hard to out and saruma can keep floating the pop traps. Plus the reborn too. If there's card like torrential (which is a. Card) unchained would be hard to out

The rarities in this game are weird tbh, certain cards are either to high, or to low in regards to rarity level.
Probably has something to do with how popular they are. Blue Eyes and Dark Magician decks are super excpencive because how popular the cards are. Konami is playing it smart and making that money.

Honestly this format looks like better Yu-Gi-Oh though. Assuming it's diverse, it looks much more skill based and interactive. This is how I played Yu-Gi-Oh back in the day.
