Yea, hop ear is pretty good in a synchro deck that it can serve as a dodge or can go into interruption. It's also very good in my ghoti deck as i can also go into non fish synchro on the opp turn.
I've now decided to add 3 Orochi, every bystial, basically all of the psy-frames, and 3 hop ear squadron to all of my decks for the giggles.
That sounds extremely fun

I think Coder should try a 40 card build so he can see hus starters more often.

Master Duel's shuffler is so friggin bad. I legit opened the same "1 of" 5 duels in a row one night. Oh, and when I first climbed to platinum when the game first came out, there was a card in my deck that I NEVER opened.

Me and a buddy ran matches all day this video was uploaded and my starting hand had small world 100% of the time and he had his royal Ash 100% of the time. We played for several hours and we got those in hand every time across different decks

Funny, I played against a similar deck last night. I wonder if Naturia got featured by someone to make it more prevalent. The deck definitely has a problem with deckout from Camellia spam but otherwise looks fairly solid in terms of BO1.

Coder in the early part of this vid is just me trying to hit Master. Of course I draw Ash when they don't Maxx C. Of course I draw Lava Golem when they only end on Baron and backrow.
the shuffler has always been dogshit i have a replay from an event where i was playing crooked cook and i drew all my monsters before it gave me a spell card, i literally had to draw through half my deck before it stopped giving me monsters, i lost because by the time i got final countdown off my opponent got swordsoul longyuan off 5 times

Opening 3 of the same cards is why I refuse to play 3 Maxx c or 3 ash blossom. Unless it is 100% necessary for the deck to function I will only run 2 copies of any cards that aren't apart of my engine

Bystials, Havnis, maybe Lady if you smacked someone with an Inperm or it's the Labrynth mirror, enough people are on Links that Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay could potentially make a comeback in certain formats. Fabled and Dark World have options off the Furniture discards. Even Roze could become an option if the new Striker Link-2s get popular enough. Maybe more Turn 0 Synchro options might be what the mechanic needs to stop losing to coin flips so often.
Hop Ear goes crazy tho, i remember got Hop Ear'd turn 0 they make Shenshen, cant remember how they did it bcs its Level 9
