He also has other projects lined up for him. He's at his peak of his career and he's working very hard to support his kids. He is not selfish at all as he's taking opportunities that come to him. I think that he was getting more and more movie roles getting more attention and popular and he wasn’t happy with his life he had with Lisa anymore he was gone so much and she really couldn’t go with him because the kids have school unless she home schools them also they don’t live in a populated area it may have been fine in the beginning but no one really knew who Jason Mamoa was now they do. I really did like him but what he did to Lisa is heartbreaking she wouldn’t cause any drama because she’s mature and has class my theory is because it happened to me is……Never dad or marry a handsome man because other women will see how handsome he is and may try and get him for themselves ( Yepp it happened to me ) the other one is and a lot of actors and actresses have said one reason for divorce in Hollywood is one spouse may be getting more movie roles then the other one and is gone a lot and the spouse who really doesn’t have anything at that time would at some stage resent the other one and it’s hard to be married in Hollywood when that happens and I think Jason Mamoa just wasn’t happy living off the grid like they were. 😢

It is so sad that Jason could leave the "love of his life" at the drop of a hat after his career took off. It's extremely sad that women insistently threw themselves at him like the pieces of meat they are. The real point, however, is that Jason is weak and a liar! Wow, what his kids must think. Instead of being present with them, he's off giving his manhood his undivided attention with a women that doesn't give a true hoot about his kids or the fact that he has abandoned them and their mother. Shame on Jason and the piece of meat that he's with. Grow up Jason! Be a real man by making the woman that bore your children happy which should take up all your free time. That is not at all how any of this happened. As someone else in the comment section put it, their separation happened organically. They both outgrew each other and decided it was best to move on. You people act like after people separate that they aren't allowed to find love again. Yes, he called her the love of his life, but that's a very human thing to do. I'm sure that many of us have called previous partners the loves of our lives. It's a cold hard fact, but relationships just don't last like we wish they would, even when kids are in the equation. I'm also very sure that Jason is still involved in his kids' lives. In either case, I wish them both the best going forward because they honestly handled the whole situation with grace.

It’s quite difficult to have a relationship when you’re famous and in the spotlight. Marriage is work as a “ normal “ person is hard so there’s extra pressure there. However, even though Lisa is still a beautiful woman and obviously takes good care of herself but time waits for no man or woman, and trying to keep up with a young man can be exhausting. As in all marriages you have to make the commitment to stay and work through things together. Now she’s older with 2 young children, she and Zoe were doing just fine without all the drama. Unfortunately, this is what sometimes happens when a couple who has a significant age difference gets together. They end up in different places and want different things because they're out of synch. I'm not saying it ALWAYS happens. I'm sure there are many couples with significant age differences who live wonderful lives together, but it is an added risk for a relationship.
Love knows no age or boundaries. I like them both but if they cannot stay together that's ok. Jason will look for Love in all the wrong places because..... on the other hand Lisa will continue to grow and glow 😊

Yes as we age we all change but we choose either to make our “love” change/grow too or we don’t. People have to be very careful and pay attention. As people get older they grow, mature and sometimes even their goals change. Let's not forget the significant age difference between them also. So it appears they hit a crossroads...however, ppl talking about he should have did this or he should have did that...they BOTH had a decision to make...either to stay and make it work or go their separate ways. From everything I've heard and read it seems like a mutual one. I have seen people that truly love each other but aren't meant to be together. Then there's those like my grandparents together for 70 yrs! That doesnt mean they didnt hit crossroads, but THEY made a decision to push thru. So if Jason and Lisa decided it was healthier to be apart than to stay and end up resenting each other, then they made a decision that THEY will both have to live with. So like I said, ppl need to be very careful on passing judgment on what somebody should or shouldn't do!

Personally I don’t think there are countless soul mates out there for you. If you are lucky and find someone that you feel that way about then they should be worth putting in the effort as the relationship changes.
Some information from an older person, me: if you think you will always feel the same way you do about your partner as you did at the start of your relationship or that either of you will be the same person years from now you are in for a rude awakening. People change, circumstances change and love changes, it is our choice how we deal with those changes. Some changes will be good others not so but if that person is truly your love and you promised to be with them through good and bad then you work through all the changes. You don’t go find a replacement. In some situations yes there is no hope and it isn’t worth it, such as abuse and constant cheating but that isn’t what we are seeing here or talking about those situations.
We have made leaving one partner and getting another so easy and acceptable often people don’t put in the effect.
So Lisa basically boosted his ego to the point he used it against her .. sad
