This is an authentic late night talk show. They're actually talking. He's not trying to get quick applause and responses from the audience. The 90's were very different.
And at the same time, it was a very different talk show. Intriguing at best.

No, actually they do it for the "look at me everybody, look at me!". Typical and boring as hell. Lisa fully possess charisma in that you are first captivated by her beauty, then her charm, grace and intelligence, then you have to put in the work to probe deeper to figure this girl out. Case in point: Notice how Arsenio, a notorius foot dude pulls the foot stool up in front of her, inviting her to rest her naked feet on it in front of him. She refused. Clearly she has no interest in seeking that kind of attention for herself. She is comfortable with who she is, where she is in her life. To me THAT is true charisma and the vast majoirty of these "celebrities" can do no better than to learn from her example.

Just realize that Lisa Bonet is actually who everyone wishes Jada Pickett Smith had grown up to be. Deep, sultry, mysterious, intelligent and drinkable truth.
I've never heard that before. Most people say they miss Jada Pincket's original face, but they never saw her as mysterious or anything. She was the cute street girl from around the way and she grew into the classy street smart woman (with a freaky sex life and botched plastic surgery)

@@JohnDoe-tt6en hey there. I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I just used myself and students as an example of my thoughts on "shy" not necessarily being a bad thing. I think a lot of people were just made to feel that by adults who wanted them to be more visible or outgoing. Sometimes we bloom a little later. I still have moments but I've learned through time and maturity to not let being "shy" hold me back from what I'm doing. CZcams is strange lol
I don't see anything weird or strange about her personality in this interview. She comes across as being her authentic self and not trying to be animated for the sake of the audience.
Absolutely. So many entertainers put on an interview persona for the cameras and are completely different people when the camera turns off. She's just being who she is. And let's admit it, Arsenio wasn't really adept at dealing with her. He's used to boisterous guests.

She is drop dead gorgeous. Hollywood missed its opportunity. American audiences still have a difficult time maturing and moving on today. Unfortunately nothing has changed. If it’s a good film I’m going to watch. I don’t care that the actor or actress is known for being in another show or whatever. At least Zoe inherited her mom’s (and dad’s) beauty and talents . But Lisa is so one of a kind.
We always miss out on Black women in their prime because Hollywood feels there’s no place for them. Off the top of my head, Lonette McKee comes to mind. Phyliss Yvonne Stickney. Look at both of them in their prime- Dorothy Dandridge too, FINE and Hollywood wasted them!

Yeah I think his hot factor was raised quite a few points when when him and Lisa got together . Lisa is the only actress I can think of who can capture the attention of people by her presence and stay relevant . I mean for me a black kid who grew up in the west and only was exposed to white kids doing fun things in the movies and shows Lisa changed the game.Up until that point black kids in movies and in shows were side kicks. Lisa was not only a rebel she was a hippi she wasn’t a side kick and she really did not have to act very much to cause such a stir. This interview was followed by her mother dying. She had been sick and Lisa was playing care giver on both fronts.

There’s something very powerful about a woman who can charm you by saying very little words. This is my first time hearing her speak as Lisa and not as Denise. She’s very poised and beautiful.

Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us?
A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus.
(4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this.
(5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner.
(7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer :
‘Dear GOD,
I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen!
