Loved this page and reminded me of when I went anywhere with my daughters, I would also always hold their hands, as I do now with my granddaughters. The word Love at the bottom just said exactly what this page was about.

I love how you used the mother's hand. Very precious. This is a beautiful piece! I also gather items ahead of time, and when I have everything I need, I start the project. I really enjoy your channel because of the variety of different things you do. And also, just because I think you're sweet. I started my Rolodex/recipe card file. # 1 is Dancing in the moonlight. Barbie I love this collage and I had thought as you were putting the music pieces down that it represented music you might hear walking down the sidewalk of a quaint little town. The mom’s hand is a great answer to the travel prompt. I don’t think I would have ever thought of that. I am enjoying the Daphne’s Diary collages very much. Those felt hearts are adorable. What a nice handmade collectible for your DIL to receive each year and so well done. Thank you for the shout out…I liked my 2nd week 6 collage so much better! You are sweetheart! I have a tip about the old washi tape that might also help. Put the tape in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds. It loosens the glue enough to pull of a piece without tearing. You will have to microwave again the next time you use it. I learned that from someone else on CZcams but I don’t remember who. TFS 🥰
Thank you, Pam. I loved using the mom's hand, that image is so sweet. Mara, (DIL) loves her hearts, so far she only has 2 but as the years pass she'll have many more. I love making them and enjoy the embroidery. I'm definitely going to try the washi tape trick down the road. Have a great week and happy crafting to one of the best out there. xo🥰
Very nice. To make your washi tape sticky again, it can be put in the microwave for a few seconds and then you test it and it should be sticky again and easy to unroll

Gosh I’ve been trying to get caught up with life today. With work and snow I’ve been stuck in a time warp. This week had mixed emotions. I first watched week 8 and then found this one. Haha i was so confused, I thought I was behind 😅 Then as this started to come together it was creating a little lump in my throat because the image reminded me of a Willow figurine that one of my friends gave me after my mom died, of a mother holding a child’s hand. So this collage has special meaning for me. Thank you. ❤❤

You sound just as talented as my girlfriend and yes, use them for ephemera! I love cross stitching and miss it. I do try but the old eyes get tired and I love the 24ct aida cloth and as you know, that's tiny stitching. Thanks you for your kind comment and sending hugs your way. 🧡🤗🧡

I love that you just have no qualms about mixing white whites and off whites. I’ve really been trying to embrace that concept. What was the old washi tape tip you were going to give us?
Hi Suzi !! Yes, let's not be afraid of white. As a matter of fact, this week I want to make a masterboard using white scraps which will be fun. I've been told to put your washi tape in the microwave for a short time, maybe 5 seconds and it will loosen up so you can pull it and use it. Loved this page Barbie and have had a look through all my DD mags and do you think i can find that image no lol it must be one i missed out buying as the book stores here in New Zealand are very sporadic with the issues we will normally get the January issue in may or june so its a tad frustrating
