Hi Kevin, we have spoken several times on the phone, and I am getting use to using the rings and bands.
I think a video on operator position when placing the bands and rings maybe helpful to some.
I know I sometimes feel I could be in a better position to make life easier. Please let me know if there is an actual
video in your library of helpful hints.
As always, keep up the good work, and I will be looking for your reply.

Hello Dr. Rubin. This is a great idea for a video! We do have a mannequin head in our office that we can use in order to demonstrate positioning. We will put it on our list of videos to film. Thanks again for the suggestion!

in have question ,band should go under gingiva or no ?

Thanks for the question! As long as the bottom of the prep is sealed with the band and wedge, so no moisture will enter the restoration is acceptable. If the prep is subgingival, you'll want to place that matrix band subgingivally to seal the prep.

Donde puedo comprar ese kit y me gustaría saber el precio

It depends on your country of residence if/where you can buy our products as we're only able to ship direct within the U.S. Also, distributors set their own pricing so I don't have that information. You can contact Randy Drumm at rdrumm@garrisondental.com to see what distributors may be available in your area.

@@GarrisonDental ,yo vivo en venezuela, por amazon no se puede comprar?

We don't recommend buying products from Amazon as we cannot guarantee if they're real Garrison products. We have dealers that we work with in other countries (like Henry Schein as an example) that are verified purchasers of our products and that's what we do recommend. I don't see any current distributors in Venezuela in our system, but if you do contact Randy, he may know of a distributor in a neighboring country that may have the ability to ship to Venezuela.

THAT'S what I've been getting put between my teeth this whole time?! I always thought it was literally a band, like a rubber band. Yeesh.

No adjacent teeth? What hell to do??

If you're in a situation where you're restoring a tooth with no contact with an adjacent tooth, you'll more than likely need to use some sort of Tofflemire-style system.
