I lived in Savannah for a few yrs. Except for the mosquitos, the humidity, the suffocating heat and thieves on street, it was one of my favorite places.

Loved the walking tour of Savannah. I lived in Tennessee for 49 years and never made it to Savannah Georgia but I’m going to put it on my bucket list now that I am full-time RV traveling. I hope to be on the East Coast next summer. Louie was such an awesome boy on his walk. 👍🏻❤️🐾

We loved Skidaway SP, Savannah and all of the Low Country. I hope you rode that really cool bike trail through the swamp that's at Skidaway.

hello! as a resident of Savannah, I would recommend looking at other parts of the city.
The river front has totally expanded on both sides. On the East Side is the Thompson
Hotel which has a roof top restaurant bar that overlooks the city to the west, and
with views down the river to the east. great food, too!
Pinkie Masters is an old timey neighborhood bar that is great for atmosphere &
some "characters" of Savannah. Walk along Liberty Street, Savoy Society is a popular
local spot for food & amazing cocktails with inside & outside seating. The Book Lady
is a wonderful used bookstore; other great shops as well. happy travels!

Been to skidaway a couple times. We try to get down that way every year or two. Like to go to river street and the markets and people watch. Love the channel.

Really fun video, guys. Never been to Savannah, but it has always been a city I’d love to see. Louis’ first elevator and first raspberry! 🤭 Suggestion - check out the Highwave water bottles for dogs. Plastic bottle with a straw and a bowl on top. Squeeze bottle and water pushes into bowl, and sucks back into bottle when you let go. Augie loves his! 🐶 Louis is maturing into such a handsome boy!

What a fun video! I hope Louie never grows into his ears - they are sooooo cuuute! I love chicken and waffles - when we have company visit is in Arkansas I always make that - most have never heard of it. Homemade waffles with spinach and protein powder balance the fried chicken tenders and syrup a little bit anyway! Thanks for sharing your fun time!

i suggest that if you wanna try an RV park there is one in Tybee Island.. yes its surrounded by houses lol.... but hey its a park and its on the North Side of tybee far away from the pier!

I haven’t been there since 87 in the Army but will definitely stay there since it’s very dog friendly.
I'm probably too late but you should definitely try the chicken & waffles at Pages Okra Grill in Charleston. THE BEST!! Especially if you like sweet & spicy. I'd plan a trip back to SC for that alone!

Try a dog water bottle with the folding bowl on top of water bottle. Water can squeeze in the bowl and back into bottle what he does not drink. We love it for our dog. It’s available with Amazon.

Currently living in Savannah,ga for school. I received a hefty ticket in Atlanta,ga for open container I thght all of GA was the same i was too happy to get back to sav with drive through liquor stores and freedom no city like it will deff come back to retire here. Thanks
In Savannah right now for a July wedding (yup, July) and it is hot and humid and the cicadas are loud, and the sunset is beautiful, the vegetation is lush, the Spanish moss hangs low, the tea is sweet, the Savannahans are friendly, and the food is So Good...

Worth the trip for sure! East and West are so different... and that's why we really over traveling to both! You should take that trip!
The biggest problem is that people don't give themselves enough time to really explore and see things. There is so much to see and do.

Hi to you all last time in Savanna we ate at Paula Deans 👍. In Charleston we have a few restaurants you should check out, SNOB , Le Farfalle, Ellis Creek Fish Camp, Page’s Okra Grill to name a few 👍 Safe Travels.

Very nice video. Have you tried a harness with Louie? I find my little dog is easier to control with the harness. He responds better to a body tug than a tug on the neck. Also be aware that if you are hot, the streets are hot on his paws which is why some people use pet back pacs or strollers. But to get him exercise, maybe some booties.
Hello thank you! Agreed the harness works better for some dogs. Louie pulls really hard on his neck collar… like really hard sometimes! We do use a front clip harness called t he “Easy walk”, which controls his body much better and he doesn’t really pull with it on. We’ve gone through three sizes of them now 🤣 and in this video he was inbetween harness. He’s almost done growing so we have his forever size and we always use it now. Thank you for the suggestions! 😊
We spent 1 night in our class b in Savannah. We slept in our van right down from the river walk. It was lovely. The city is really pretty.
Oh Nice! We also slept in our Van in 2019 in the 24HR pay lot right downtown.

Yes. Absolutely. And as much as I’d like you to come to southern Ontario, which is beautiful, the east coast is spectacular. I just returned from Maine, New Brunswick and Quebec and loved every minute. I’ve also been to Nova Scotia and PEI. As the post says, you will love it. 🇨🇦

Looks like fun town to explore! Did you have to register/sign-up for the walking tour? What’s the name of the honey store? Love hot honey (Mikes and others i come across) ; definitely want stop by there as well as Leopolds for ice cream!
Yes, you do have to sign up on the website and pay a $2.50 transaction fee. Then you pay/tip what you feel it’s worth at the end of the tour. The store was called the Savannah bee company. The hot honey was so good!!
