What a great life you have! Living and working in the wilderness, machine work, and blowing rocks up, could be a man's dream!
How to apply
Yeah this job seems so stimulating I’ll do it for free. I think the job title is irrigation specialist.
Your country has such a large land area. The place where we live is crowded, we don't have a single hill to cultivate
Guardiacaccia, better known as Forest Ranger @@joshuagainey1648
Don't kid yourself, this isn't work for him! He's having too much fun blowing things up! Love it.
Post 10 needs dynamite......
No I don't think he does lol
Why, so we all end up with beaver tails and heads raining down on us
Lol I just got a post 10 video after this
Hey everyone
I don’t care who you are that was funny
Don't you just love this guy, what a fabulous attitude to have he actually loves what he does and laughs at himself
when he cocks up come yuotube hands on with him get his site the recognition it deserves.
Cheers Buddy loved it again.
Wow! Those detonations were absolutely awesome! You've got more energy than I do in a week. Much respect.
"Wow! Those detonations were absolutely awesome! You've got more energy than I do in a week. Much respect."
I worked as a mechanic for a company decades ago that did seismic work in the oil field industry, and other things. One time they hired out to drill shot-holes in the floor of a rock pit so they could loosen up more rock to excavate. The floor of the pit was 100 feet below grade. I had to go out there and replace the starter on the shot-hole rig so they could get it started and drive it out of the pit. While I was doing that they got all the holes they had drilled packed with explosives and as the shot-hole rig was driven out of the pit they ran the wire that connected all the holes together up to the top out of the pit. So I hung around to watch what happened.
When they set off the explosives you really could not hear it but felt it through your feet. I stood there and watched the floor of the pit, about the size of a football field, rise up into the air with part of it going about 300 feet into the air. I quickly rolled under my pickup to avoid being hit by rocks that flew over to where we had stationed ourselves at the rim of the pit.
I think they used a little too much ammonia nitrate between the sticks of TNT in the holes.
Kinda looked like me taking a dump, shit flying everywhere. Thats what happens under pressure.
The man is a combo of Letsdig18 and Andrew Camarata. Excellent slow-motion shots. I really enjoy watching your videos.
thats funny you said that i was thinking the same thing while watching the video
Maybe some post 10 as-well
@@jenschristianpedersen Demolition Dave too!
More like @post10 with a bigger budget. Just need some beavers for him to blow up at the same time.
@@jenschristianpedersen definitely a some Post 10 content going on here.
Watching you drill and blast the rock brought back memories of when I was a teenager and I would help my Dad to do the same thing. We used an air operated drill run by a gas compressor and would poke a hole in the end of the dynamite and insert the blasting cap. The cap was detonated by a fuse which we would have about 10 feet long. Light it and run. We were doing this to create a dam on a creek and had federal approval. Can't do that anymore. I still remember the sound as it went off.
Thanks for bringing back a fond memory.
That last slo-mo shot was the best. Very cool video. When you cut a drainage ditch right across the road. That is exactly what I would have done.
AGREED THE SLO MO WAS AWESOME
I've watched professional blasters use just enough explosive to break the rock into manageable pieces for an excavator (Hi Dave!), but your method is much more fun and there's almost nothing left to clear up 😁
HI Jay!
Dave is very adaptable to situations, when demolishing near structures or people he is careful and uses little explosives. When he's sure he won't do any damage he works like this guy using lots of explosives. Demolishing with dynamite requires adapting to the situation. When you don't have digging machines nearby, the explosive not only breaks the rock but also displaces it
@@demolitiondavedrillandblast This made me laugh!
Unusual, interesting and sometimes remarkable. Your camera work and editing is intelligent. The content is real frontier activity which one doesn't get much chance to see, let alone do anymore. Thanks for this channel; it is now a favourite and I expect the subscriptions will soar. From rural South Australia (limestone and granite country so blasting using nitropril has been frequently used).
of course he is intelligent - he has got swedish ancestors!
There are literally dozens, if not hundreds of channels documenting the same, or similar things. You don't realize that they exist because you haven't searched for them and are waiting for them to be recommended to you, but they're out there.
1) its a bot 2) those channels buy massive amount of bots 3) this guy is so stupid, why not just dig a small canal next to the rock instead of exploding it? @@K-Fed
Fantastic video! The blasting and digging techniques employed to clear restricted water flow are both impressive and effective. Great job showcasing these vital processes!
Oh... I'll be watching this when I get peace tonight, thank again 🏴🏴
The entire video was without a doubt, excellent! But that last big blast? Talk about OVER-THE-TOP!! EPIC!!
He gets to use every cool machine, tool, or vehicle, I am envious.
Excellent video and great videography. Very interesting and informative watching you address the issues you're faced with.
There's somethjng very satisfying in watching things go boom. Warms the heart of my cockles.
Wow, thanks a lot for risking your camera equipment. Those slow-motion shots of the explosion were spectacular.
Risking his camera? How about risking his lungs? No PPE. Nil.
@@Tedinoz Bro he was at least a hundred feet away, behind a tree, and outside. Any particulates would have settled down before he even managed to get back to the site, and if the explosion itself managed to cause him harm I'm not sure PPE would have been able to do much either.
@@mortemexmachina187 Pretty sure they're referring to the dust from drilling. There are a few shots where he is wearing a mask but most are without. Hopefully it's just an effect of how the video is set up, silicosis is terrible
finally. another man who EDCs a hammer drill and dynamite. I keep mine in an ankle holster just in case.
Worth the effort of doing that horizontal drill after turning that rock into gravel ! Great video.
This was so much fun to watch. If you zigzag the drainage ditch it will slow down the force of the water so less erodes and you won't have as much to keep clearing out
From the rock he is digging up,it would require many explosive discharges and be very expensive
That last one 'blowed up good!'
Best video opening ever, "This rock is in the way and we will use explosives to move it"! haha. Note to self, 5 sticks is a lot if you ever get around to blasting rocks. Beautiful and Thank You. Your drone shot shows a lot of standing water. It will be a few weeks before you get into the forest for sure. 5th day in the row with thunder storms here in Texas. Lots of water also right now. Farmers grow a lot of cotton around me so I am sure they are very happy. Thanks for the video.
So does anyone else think that Post10 might be just a little bit jealous of this set up? 🤔😉
Always great viewing. Love the camera work and editing, the slow mo & drone footage is cool. Keep up the great work.
another video! honestly, Im really enjoying your work and your personality. great stuff, looking forward to see more!
Always your content is fun to watch. On the top of that, you just remind me when I lived in Stockholm/Sweden back in 2007-2011 .Beautiful country with pure nature ❤
Greetings from USA
TB 175! What my machine (TB 135)aspire to become when it grows up! Great video! Og hilsen fra nabolandet 😁
That last blast was over done, but it was cool. You made what’s called a counterforce charge. Essentially it’s just explosive waves colliding and multiplying inside a hard target. You could’ve had a slightly better effect on the rock if you did not place a charge in the center. Also if you have detcord or blasting cap at the furthest out point. The wave will travel more effectively through the explosive and into the target.
Damn it looks awesome in slowmotion, when you blastet that big rock - cool! 🙈🙉💥
Awesome footage of your blasting especially the last big rock……👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Well, that was fun!
Your a hard worker, thanks for the video look at the work that you do.
The camera locations and slow motion shots were great.
Glad you didn't shoot down the drone!
Be careful.
Loved all the shots of the final blast!
Work of precision when blasting of those rocks. Great results 💥💥👍
Man oh man explosives are too much fun, is there no end to your talents? How did you learn so much at such an early age? I’m capable of the things you do with the exception of explosives, it took me 60 years to learn what you know and you’re better at many things than me. You are a very astute young man and I’m so glad I found your channel. Much respect, be well.
Thanks for the kind words Dave!
@@M.BJOERNSTROEM you deserve it, to be this accomplished at your age your dad must’ve been a great teacher. Please say hello to your family for me. Be blessed.
Some ppl just got the feeling for it and others don't. Thats with everything, years of experience don't say anything and that the reason we dont say our years of experience here in europ
Trying to pull that trailer out of the mud with a quad was funny!
Oh my god! We used to use those drills as conscripts back in 2012 in the pioneer battalion. Never thought i ever see one again
Man o man, THAT was awesome! I’ve watched many videos on this same subject.
This video is, far and away, the best!
Great video, It's a man's dream job. Jack hammers, big excavators and dynamite ! ! 🤩
😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍"Awesome post young lad.....just freaking awesome!!!!! "
Thanks Steven!
Good job building that road with the TB175! 👍 I suffer from much the same conditions, granite stone everywhere… Come and visit and bring the dynamite 😁
Such fun !!! I think that's a great way to get some stone on to the roadway !!!!! Good job Man..... love the drone footage 😉😎
Fantastic camera angles on that explosion. I greatly appreciate it
13:57 Wow! That is a lot of rock down both sides of the road.
Stunning scenery
Awesome!!! Thanks for so many repeat shots of the explosions!
Amazing video man, I can’t believe only 30k people have been subscribed while this content is so good too watch, keep it up !
Dayymmm this shot is Fire🔥 43:55
I wish you and Andrew Camarata from NY USA could get together. You are both so much alike and yet your styles are completely different. Your camera work and editing are outstanding. I don't know how you both know so much about so many things. I'm in awe. Again, I hope you have some friends that can share the experiences you go through. Happiness is not real unless its shared.
Agreed
If you have a rock crusher you have all the stone you need for the road bed and perfect road. Love your videos. Keep em coming.
Yeah, I think I have one in the garage somewhere.
Tusen takk for god underholdning. Godt jobba. 👍🤗👍
Ha! Enjoyed the video and the capture from every angle of the rock explosions! 💯👌
You hiring? Middle of nowhere, working alone, working the land.... my kind of job.
Having been a combat engineer in Vietnam I can tell you i have never seen a guy trying harder to get killed. I don''t know a single safety rule he didn't break. - God must have a special liking for this guy. He scared the crap out of me just watching him.
Well, on private land there are no safety laws so he can do what he wants. Overall, you really making it worse then it is. (Btw why do amaricans always say they experience? It doesn't mean your good at what you did, it only says you did it short enough not to get killed. I dont get that about amaricans, nobody else does it...) he clearly knows what he is doing so you dont have to tell him what to do
Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho que realiza
Мира и добра.
Замечательная работа. Тихо спокойно не спеша и всё сделано. Удачи во всех начинаниях.
When in doubt, double the amount. When still in doubt, triple the amount. Great for CZcams content.
That's the melody!
Not much point in blowing stuff up unless you get to see it a few times - forwards, backwards, slomo . . . and loved the drone shot.
Thats some tough digging, good job getting it done.
Don't know how I fell on this video I love it... dream work
Hey my man, you can move that rock with that excavator easy but you just wanna blow it up I know!!! 😂
You got a valid point there!
With the amount of stone you have and your crusher, you could pave that road.
This has to be one of the best videos I’ve ever seen Omg you’re awesome I will definitely be following your channel ❤❤❤❤❤and your a cutie pie 👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️
Haha thanks Jordan!
"Sometimes there's just too many rocks!"
Fascinating and very satisfying.
....and inside was the last T-rex egg..... thank you...😅🤣
Love your stuff!! You are multitalented my man.
Thanks!
Excellent shooting
The thing that strikes me first, is how little planning went into the making of this road.
Love the camera shot under the trailer:)
Great "special" effects. Thanks for video.
This was fun. Subbed, ill be diving into your other content when i can. Definitely a very intelligent dude, cant wait to see what you get up to. 🤙
it was nice to see your pfopertywithout snow on it
WOW on these boulders!!!!!!
Very good timestamps, probably the best timestamp-titles I've seen, ever!:)
Minute 37:51 man enjoying his work 🤠
Hello from the Netherlands.
thanks for the video.
Sincerely Hollandduck
Beautiful slow motion shots!
I love watching people dig :). You would've had a lot of fun with a rotortilt for the excavator!
First time seeing your videos! Really fun stuff, you are living many mans dream to be honest :D :D. Enjoy it and keep yourself safe man! See you on the next one
Love Your videos, and love Sweden too, home of my late wife.
Buenisimo! Felicitaciónes por tu trabajo.. Lindo lugar.. Saludos
9:26 LOL i love the safety hand. its an upgrade from safety squints. if the cable goes it will only take some fingers instead of your eyes. pretty good trade i think hahaha
I didn't expect it to boom that intensively, my floor vibrated
Thanks for the nice camera work.
woooow that explotion was beautiful
While going to work and filming videos, I really admire you. Wish you good health
When you started to drill horizontal, I yelled at the screen, 'You will be sorry!'
great video, I like the slo mo
love the multiple angle views and slow motion of the blasting's...
👏🎥🔍 This video is top-notch! The videography is outstanding, capturing all the details as you tackle the challenges head-on. It's both intriguing and educational to see how you address the issues and ensure smooth water flow. I'm curious about the techniques and tools you use. Keep up the great work! 💪💦🌊
with all your creative skills, you should make an attachment for your drill to your excavator.
Got a lot of drilling ahead so it's on the todo list!
Awesome job bud. Take care.
nice footwork and straddle
Love it when you bliw sht up lol .. look forward too more videos...
Great video. Thanks
What's the purpose/goal of building these forest roads and your rock crushing etc.? Is this private property or public land?
It's a mix of hobby and logging, and the property is private.
@M.BJOERNSTROEM nice! It looks like fun!
Your mic cover for the headset is just the cutest ever.
"I don't know why it was not removed." Proceeds to blast the dam ahaha...
Excellent filming I You got skills.
