Pretty much nailed it right there. Still not quite as good of a noise as the Quattro S1 though...
But I don't think anything will ever beat that.

This is one of the best descriptions of a Maserati GT ever. It's a car you buy for the unspoiled fun and pure emotion. No drag race numbers or similar crap. Well done!

My favorite thing about the GT is absolutely the way it looks -- convertible _or_ coupe. It is *epically, **_painfully_* beautiful. There isn't a single angle on the car where it isn't just a masterpiece of design.

@@sleepeatdrive7619 hey there... no issues at all. GTs are very reliable. The Gibhli (however you spell it lol) I finally hit 13k miles on it. I need to drive her more. I bought a brand new Jeep Gladiator Mojave in April and already put 11k miles on that. I am trying to drive the Masi more. but its hard lol

The gearbox is the as the one on Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Pretty fast for what it is.
& 599 GTO...Only kicks in after 5000 revs in race mode...if you know you know😊

Exactly the same feeling I get in my family car Alfa 159 - despite it being practical daily driver its chassis and steering offer such a lovely connection to the road.. then I look all Skodas and Renaults around me.. naaahh I won't complain about having only 1 cup holder :D

There are way to many 911s arround and at the moment when one drives by I don't even look anymore. They're just not special but when I see a Masi like that... It just still has that special thing that cars like that should have
I love the fact maserati care about little things: the trident is everywhere! You can find it at the Steerinh wheel, at the vences on the side an on the wheels too! love that!

The Maser is actually a bag of nuts and bolts. Engineer friend of mine at work used to fix these things and he said they are badly made: thin, flakey paint; fragile gearbox that loved eating its clutch plate; diff shatters; comedy electrics and the engine being an ex Ferrari are very fragile especially the valve train. I might add my old neighbour had one and despite looking a million dollars he hated the bastard. He hated it so much he bought an XKR to which he reluctantly admitted it should of been was the right choice to start with i.e faster, lighter and way more reliable.

Like SRT, corvette racing etc., taking influence from the track and utilizing performance in the consumer auto-industry never fails to get me amped about the crazy potential they've got. It's been a pleasure following CT grow into a community of petrolheads around the planet, as well as a refinement of video content and editing skills. From an emotion standpoint, there are few cars that can stir the soul quite like a Maserati. At the same time, there are few cars like the Maserati that'll make you cringe when you see how steeply it has depreciated from new.
Stradale's have held their values due to limited production & demand. Not available in US

Kinda forgot to mention, though, that the Gallardo shown is PJW's, and he's got a custom Armytrix on it, and it's the loudest in Europe. Though I'd choose a Maserati over pretty much any other car any day. The Ghibli is just... omg.

Finally! I thought my new car was crap (it's amazing imo) and I got my Maserati for 35,000 on autotrader with just 17,500 Miles on it I've seen cheaper on there but they had alot more miles. Mines in white and black thinking about getting a armytrix exhaust because I have money left to spend because I thought it was more expensive I might Aswell do a video on that.
That Gallardo has an ARMYTRIX exhaust system fitted. The full video is up on the SOL youtube channel.
IA test drive put me off buying one simply because it was falling to bits around me. The centre console was loose as was the gear stick knob, some of the interior trim broken and loose, a grab handle in the rear was broken and as we were driving along the entire glove box fell out off it's fixings. This was a very low mileage demo car, one that had hardly been used, hadn't had kids trying to rip it apart or any daily wear and tear. The worry was that if the build quality was so bad on the bits I could see what would the parts I couldn't see be like? Drove and handled well, looks fantastic and sounded epic, quite heavy though so more GT than balls out sports car.
I love the MC Stradale but there is no way on earth it sounds as good as Paul wallaces Gallardo!
Yeah but thats not a fair comparison. Pauls lambo, of SOL, has an aftermarket Armytrix ti exhaust!!!!

Everyone bashes Maserati and don’t give this car/brand any credit because it’s an ‘older’ design.....
I personally LOVE this freakin car. It sounds so freakin goooood and looks soooooooo freakin sexy, it looks like the euro version of a corvette.
The dash is a bit dated with the 90’s car phone buttons going on in there but the seats and center counsel and all the carbon everywhere look awesome (seats look even better in the alcantara trim)
You can retrofit CarPlay within the existing screen
basically an italian corvette. this thing is huge for a two door car.
