He perfectly timed the adept shade: he threw the grenade into the spot the adept ended up in a few seconds before the adept got there. Throwing grenades is an art.
I learned from Harstem that you will lose the reaper if they get one shot off first and then the shade can follow you. I learned from uThermal that you can have a red hp reaper with a shade on you and still get away as long as you're god tier with your grenades!

Marc should get one of those spin the wheel things and every minute a game goes on the wheel automatically spins and he has 60 seconds to do the thing the wheel says. It would be wacky little challenges like dance your army or start long distance mining x workers.
I believe there is a way to do it in an interesting way.

Thermie. I just love your content. I've been a long time SC/SC2 player and consumer of SC content my entire life, and I just gotta say; your "challenge series" are the most fun I have with StarCraft. Love your stuff dude, don't ever stop having fun with a game you love. I love the fact that you genuinely love StarCraft and bringing us your joy. When I watch your videos it makes me feel like I can go back to the time where there were 4 or 5 of us huddled around an old school PC while we hung out and traded the ICCUP ladder back and forth just laughing and chilling and enjoying a simpler life before cell phones. Just people enjoying time with each other. Don't ever lose that passion. Please.
All these PF rushes remind me of a game of C&C Generals (Shockwave mod) I played once. I was playing Chinese artillery general and instantly opened by airlifting a worker into the opponent's supply line and building a turret. By the time they had a counter, I'd run far enough down the tech tree for the worker to build the artillery general's Hellstorm Cannon turret, which is the equivalent of a couple of siege tanks in the back of the enemy base. It was absolutely satisfying.
When doing planetary rush, ALWAYS remember you can load up the SCVs into the planetary (people use orbitals so much they forget that this exists lol) whenever your enemy puts an attack command on the SCVs, just load them up and unload them, this makes your enemy waste APM. This is particularly useful against ravagers as you avoid the biles even when your SCVs are pinned by lings.
uThermal is making PF rushes the new meta.
In that last game you could've easily mined gaz from the rich gas (near the planetary, it was soooo close) XD
Would've been really fun to see.

i think the planetary rushes are so surprisingly successful because u actually manage to produce alot of SCVs from them so ur 2 base but u actually get ur SCVs way faster then a normal 2 base

This is probably my favorite of the different series that you've done. Something I haven't seen a lot of in this series is anybody taking advantage of the range difference between spines/cannons and the PF's base range. I've been waiting to see you get that range upgrade to balance it out, but it never really presents itself.
What’s amazing is the vast variety of salt that’s presented in this series. It exceeds any Gordon Ramsey show.
Your games are inspirational. Seeing the heavy bags of salt being dropped by these players is amazing. You straight up demoralized them into defeat. And wtf you have a 46-3 on freaking planetary rush series. This is video games on another level of entertainment. Ngl your videos are one of the most anticipated moments of my day.

Uthermal, it sounds crazy, but you are the one with the crazy builds... in TvZ you always end up dominating the 3rd base as well. In the last map for example it was always in range of your units to zone out. Would it make sense to fake no aggression and build a bunker or two in range to snipe it when it completes?

RE that first game’s efficiency, an opponent leaving early will always make your efficiency look deceptively low because you will typicaly gain a lot in that final attack when they’re overwhelmed.

in the third game you totally should have taken the rich vespene geyser right next to the planetary and mined from that since your eco was so low
Just want to put it out there: now you mention it, you do say fantastic fairly often, but I like it, and it's not to a level that makes you sound repetitive or annoying at all, it just makes you sound like someone with a very positive attitude, which is a great quality of yours! Everyone has their own little speech habits, and that is an example of a good one, I think! Your English vocabulary is pretty wide, considering it's not even your first language!
Nice to see a macro PF come out! We enjoy the little high level insights like the scout timing, probe waiting to check for marine or reaper. Fantastic stuff I daresay. 😁 3 beautiful games!

You could go harder on the planetary contain idea, with more tanks/ghosts and even turrets and more PFs. Some patrolling marines at home to prevent the nydus. You can probably just hold a Zerg on 2 base until he ragequits, you don’t have to push in.

Was gunna say you should try a double proxy PF but you ended up doing it in the last game lol. The salt cannon is definitely generating a lot of salt. Zerg and Protoss found it hilarious for ages when they could proxy a hatch or nexus at Terran's front door for cheesy strats, but now they're getting salty af that Terran can finally do the same to them
PF rush has been around since WoL it's just not good... unless you're an ex pro dunking on some fools in the most blessed series ever.
imagine what type of childhood emotional scars these kids grow up to have from PF emotional damage.
You could use the SCVs at the PF at 4:54 in the game to repair damaged hellions across map before sending them home
