You’d be surprised, but there are women out here that do this. Far and few between, but they exist. You may not do it, but that doesn’t mean someone out here is not doing what’s she’s doing. Some women are just extra as hell and there’s nothing wrong with that
There is a category of people who society today seems to 'reward' just for their looks, and in the smartphone/social media age all they do is literally sit at home and get dressed up. Their entire life is shallow and faked (err, I meant staged), and she most likely did get all dressed up just to sit on her couch and watch TV or go to the gym. The day these people get shunned by society and are 'forced' to get jobs is coming. Thankfully, the monster that is social media is also somewhat responsible for fostering the idea that the conventional ideas of 'beauty' and 'looks' are not attainable, sustainable nor healthy, and is, slowly, moving away from superficial people like these. Will be fun when they're all out of jobs, but then they'll 'pivot' and say "look, we've been telling you about wellness and inner beauty all along".
P.S. Not that there's anything wrong with trying to look your best and feel your best to whatever suits you, but there's a difference between 'feeling your best self' and going overboard to achieve unattainable/unrealistic standards or being completely superficial/shallow.
