- Nigeria Super Eagles defeated the Black Stars of Ghana in a international friendly match played today the 22nd of March in Marrakech, Morocco. Cyriel Dessers and Ademola Lookman scored the goals for Nigeria while Jordan Ayew scored for Ghana.

It is satisfactory that we defeated Ghana Black Stars. Super Eagles played with confidence, their transition was good and they defended well. All the players were brilliant. However, they need to improve their tactical play. Lets see how they perform against Mali football national team. Congratulations

@@josephrobert194 What I meant by tactical play is that though Super Eagles played well - they must improve in there ball possession, at defense and must take there chances. - Super Eagles overall play against Black Stars was around 65 percent (averagely good). Defensively, lots of holes and the coordination upfront was not sharp enough. The midfield was good and our transition was at times scintillating but could be better. Furthermore, Black Stars played well but their overall play was (59 percent). The Mali National football team would provide a stiffer test for Super Eagles - let's see how (Super Eagles) would perform. Remember Bafana Bafana which we are playing in June for the world cup qualification are playing very good football and they will pose all kinds of problems for us - Super Eagles needs to be ready for the challenge.

The second goal was pure class of touches by 9 of the 11 players to put the ball in the back of the net... Beautiful Beautiful moves!
I liked seeing the Super Eagles move the ball quickly and attack as a unit. It’s a good day when Nigeria defeats Ghana in football, even if it’s just a friendly.
If Iheanacho was more two footed he would have scored from that run. The defenders were placed such that dragging the ball with the left foot seemed natural. The opportunity was better suited for a right foot finish, which Iheanacho does not prefer. Unless he used the outside of the left foot, which would have been a very technical finish.

Bright Osayi Samuel struggled against his opponents today....he was a weak link in the team. The Ghanains exploited that and got their penalty. I guess we miss Ola Aina. Ebuehi would have gotten a look in but injury didn't help. I hope the coach looks for options for that wing

We need to improve our scoring ability, just like Looman is the only that scoring for last 5 matches now, the rest goals are penalties or Defender.
A lot of work to be done.
One positive from this game as a Nigerian was our link up play and sharp passing. We have become more relaxed and can play out of the back with ease.
We need more honestly & that's the more we need coach that understands Naija playing patterns
Loookman is scoring because he is given a clear cut pass to score
He doesn't know how to do that for others. When it comes to creating chances out of nothing, I prefer Iheanacho. I man look at his shots on target, about 5 of them.
@@steveveron251lookman created chances . Lookman gave the assist to Oseimehn for the only goal he scored in the last Afcon. Don't compare them , if you have to Lookman is better that Kelechi. He is even the most intelligent striker that we have. His goals look easy because he knows how to place the ball. Don't be bias...anyways, I think I know why you support Kelechi😂

But, watching this game makes me ask one question: What was Iheanacho doing on the bench throughout the afcon?
The best players for Nigeria on that day were Naco and Alex. They carried Nigeria's greatest attacking threat. But Peseiro, in his bid to smother this threat, deliberately kept Nacho on the bench at the AFCON, even when it was obvious that Osimhen was tiring. I heard they had issues. But get back at a player by benching him at the expense of the 200 million fans and your achievement as a coach. We all saw that sublime pass that put Moffi on a bike which almost gave us a 2-goal lead against South Africa.
Again, he goofed on Iwobi by playing him deep into the defence, when it was obvious Osimhen needed him in the final third.
To me, those two mistakes are the 2 major mistakes made at the AFCON
Peisero didn't play Iheanacho during AFCON now look at his performance

Very good attacking, creative midfield defensive midfield and defending game play, well done super, the only problem supereagles had was the rb winge midfield from Osayi samuel he was the weakpoint for the eagles...

very correct....poseiro used the players as tho he was paid to undermine the capaciities of the players by deliberately playing them off their right roles hence casing terrible distortion in the image and performance the team overall... if you know iheanacho you know how versatile he is as a false striker, a striker and a fantastic sublime playmaker and thats the only player gifted with coverting chances and has immense shot power, composure and better shot accuracy uniquely in the whole team. hes a distinguished player. hes a real 10 with sublime 8, 9, 7 features.... my honest review
