  • Miami-Dade Animal Services took CBS News Miami inside a shelter they are still using even though they moved their headquarters to a new facility in Doral in 2016.

    Wouldn't it be nice if apartments were affordable and landlords allowed dogs? Most rental places don't allow pets at all but more of them don't allow dogs specifically so people have to surrender them when they have to move cuz they can no longer afford the rent they'd currently been paying. Hmmm... and spaying and neutering should be free as a means of population control.

      I agree so many rental don’t want pets and they don’t want you scratching anything

    There should be FREE spay and neuter `facilities subsidized by the states to get the overpopulation of cats and dogs under control.

    The heat is extreme right now in May 2024 the animals are suffer from the heat.

    Instead of complaining about the facility, go volunteer and donate to help with the problem.
