Stealing a parrot is extremely unfortunate. It's kidnapping. Parrots are noisy, expensive, intelligent, fragile and destructive. They're not wind-up toys. If a burglar breaks in and knows what he's doing (thank heavens most of them are idiots)', he will kidnap the bird and leave the other valuables behind. A parrot can be taken across state lines within 48 hours, or sold, and most don't have a microchip. They often don't necessarily acclimate to a new home, as a dog or cat will do. They're very particular. They can become screamers and bloody feather pickers. The stress can immunocompromise them and they'll get sick. And most people only keep a parrot an average of just 2-3 years before they surrender them, once they realize what their care entails. Parrots can live 40-60 years, one species can live to over 100. Some of the birds die. There aren't enough parrot rescues in our country, and they're usually full because people think parrots are like toys, snd that they'll speak and perform for you on demand. That's not what happens. I know about parrots because I'm a wildlife rehabilitator, and I also accept parrots when they escape and are found by a kind person, and brought to me. I'v got a parrot. I often worry that when I return home from an errand, the door will be wide open and the parrot gone. Luckily, most of the criminals Doorbell News shows are idiots. This really is terrible. Nobody should leave a pet outdoors unsupervised like that, it's an open invitation. I hope he doesn't become a bloody feather picker. Over the years I've heard many, many heartbreaking stories of kidnapped parrots. This is awful, much worse than the typical vandalism and stealing you usually show us, because parrots are highly intelligent, living beings.

I occasionally leave my door unlocked when walking my Dogs. However, I live in a secured building with a camera system at the Lobby door. Plus I have 2 large American Staffordshire Pitbulls and various weapons, so...😂

Always make sure that your doors, windows and vehicles are locked. Let's protect ourselves.❤
That's the first thing my Dad taught me when he taught me to drive, always lock your doors. I added my own when I had kids.... never leave them in the car alone, even when it is inconvenient.
After seeing these videos, I struggle to understand how some people still leave their doors unlocked and are still determined to leave themselves unprotected.

I live about an hour away from the Home invasion in Hoke NC it made the news and it was the second one in 2 days A guy shot of of the suspects with a shotgun and he was found in the parking lot but the home owner was shot by another suspect and died at the hospitol

@@Hatbox948 No there was 3 suspects and one took a direct shot to the abdomen and he's still alive. One of the other 2 that got away shot the homeowner and he died at the hospital.

What kind of driving was that in Ohio? This is the second crash I have seen on this channel where it looked like a heat seeking missle striking a target. Referring to the first crash in Springfield.

He got spooked by the noise the bike made falling against something. He thought someone else made that noise and it scared him. So, basically, he scared himself by his own actions! Lol!

If the criminals faces and/or car license plates can be seen clearly then the people who have a camera can give a copy to police to help catch criminals...just because we don't always see these ass-clowns get arrested right away DOES NOT mean that they aren't eventually caught.
