Craftsman S2000 52-in Rolling Tool Cabinet & Chest | How To Assemble, Challenges, Quality & Issues

My siblings and I bought the Craftsman S2000 52-Inch Rolling Tool Cabinet and Chest set for our dad for his birthday / father's day. We bought it from Lowe's. The price include free assembly but we opted to assemble ourselves so that we can show you how. From delivery, Lowe's poor customer service, installation, to Craftsman's product quality and defects, there were many issues. We would've preferred to buy the Milwaukee 56" set. It has excellent review on Home Depot and many are satisfied with sturdiness, beauty and workmanship. Buying and ordering products from Lowes to be delivered at home has been a hit-and-miss. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. In this case, it wasn't great. We ordered the Series 2000 52-in Rolling Cabinet & Open Steel Chest to be delivered along with our other construction materials but it wasn't on board. We had to call Lowes customer service several times to have the issues resolved. It took the manager 2 days to resolve it and finally it was delivered on the 3rd day, missing our father's day gift deadline to our dad.
Product quality, workmanship and defects: Craftsman pride itself on quality and Made In USA. Unfortunately during the assembly (putting handle and casters together), we found broken rivet on the bottom support panel. In addition one of the bolts would not lock into the thread, which is a huge safety issue. But we were able to mitigate by putting gasket maker which acts as a locktite. The former might be handling issues by warehouse workers, truck driver or Lowe's employees but the later is definitely a poor workmanship issue. The bottom cabinet has dings and scratches, probably handling issue. But the top shelf came in a bad condition with bubbles, dings, damages and bent corners. The bottom we could live with, but the upper unit had to be returned to Lowes for a replacement.
Nevertheless, we are able to show you how to assemble and put together the unit, especially if you're doing it yourself. It is pretty heavy, the bottom unit weighs about 200 lbs and the top weighs 120 lbs.

I would also return the top box too. Try a new bolt on the stripped one first if still won't tighten up get a longer bolt with a lock nut. Check drawer clears on nut. Good luck great video.
