  • Welcome to my channel, my name is Clint Dahl. I farm in south eastern North Dakota & we raise Angus and Hereford cattle, primarily cow calf. I grow alfalfa and grass hay and sell it in the form of small squares, round bales, and large square bales. Our goal is to highlight life on our farm with the hopes of having a little fun. We hope you enjoy!
We are excited for you to follow along and we thank you for liking and subscribing to our channel!

Very informative. Great video, commentary and editing! I enjoy this so much. (I would need a larger barn door though. )

From my experience customers prefer about a 45lb bale and really if you can get the same price for both why would you make a heavier bale?

I hear it from my customers, the expense of the hay and price point is important. So I try to give them the most bang for their buck! Plus with the bundler we’re not handling them. Once they cut the bundle open and cut the bale open they’re just handling the flakes. I’ve had tremendous uptick in sales for my price point and weight. Especially when we’re shipping long distances the truckers and people paying shipping don’t wanna pay for lights loads.
