A better design than the original JLR version. The original ones screws went so rusty you could not get them off ever. Simon has again excelled himself with his team.
Absolutely love the front ones on my 2013 freelander 2. Ordered them on release, still waiting for the rear ones ;)
I think this is one of your best products. It's a shame I no longer have a Freelander 2. I sold it when I moved back to the UK last year. Most I found in the UK were ruined, so I bought a Discovery Sport. Good job guys.

At how many Kilometers did the diff leave you?
@@Venezien85 Hiya, it started getting noisy right before the MOT/government transport test, so I know it was just over 108000 km. If it helps you, it's a 2010 car and I'm the second owner. I went to Bell Engineering in Worcestershire for the reconditioned diff and it runs like new.
The car was previously used for towing a boat but sat unused a lot, and had around 45000 km on it when I bought it. There have been a few other small issues but really nothing serious and I'm still using it most days. Hope that helps, happy to answer anything else 🙂
Had these fitted for a good 3 months plus now, working great.

We are still a few weeks out on the rear design - but we are happy to have the nice feedback on the new front light guards - they are selling well which really helps with the business case for the rear light guards.
@@L663 do you have any ideas for an injection moulded raised air intake for the freelander 2? Similar to the one for the new defender?

We have not published the video fully yet as we cannot print he clips fast enough so we did a secret "soft launch" on the website only - but it seems they got noticed on the forums and we are struggling to print the clips to keep up with demand. Thanks for the feedback - there was quite a lot of work went into these and its nice to hear customers like them !

These look great.
Are they UV proof or will they need some sort of product applying?
They are made from ABS plastic and although it will eventually degrade with UV they should last years without a problem - a good question though.

Sort of an unrelated question: would you recommend a freelander 2 over an Evoque, or discovery sport? 😊
Definitely. Evoque looks great, but the ride is harsh and visibility is terrible. Disco sport is not as reliable. I have a 2014 HSE, and love it.
@@ianbrown4242 thanks mate. Test driving a disco sport tomorrow, possibly a FL2 next week. Reliability isn’t something you can check for on a TD so thanks for info 👍🏻
@@ianmackenzie1564 I'd be interested to hear of your opinion on the Disco vs FL2. I've read of a lot of people who get Discos, and then go back to the FL2
