Welcome to the very first 507 Tutorial Series! Buckle up and hang on ya'll, I'm not the greatest at giving instructions but I sure have fun!
In this series, we'll work together to create a Flip-Flop Journal from start to finish.
I'll go ahead and tell you; Part 1 is a tad bit confusing, but we get there in the end. So, bear with me, it's a bit of a doozy.
So, grab yourself four envelopes, meet me at the fence and we'll get started.
I hope you'll join us because this is a super fun style journal to work in.

I was diagnosed with lung cancer 4 years ago and opted not to have treatment. Here I am 4 years later still alive and no symptoms yet the cancer continues to grow but slowly. I have so many different comorbidities that I never would have made it through the chemo or surgery. I feel for ya girl. It's hard for you going through the treatments and it's hard for us because we can't be there to do anything to help you. I'm sure you've got all the love and support you need from friends and family and even strangers. Give us an update now and again about your condition. Blessings & HUGZ! 🌹

Hi Leslie - I know it's an older video but I wanted to make some more Flip-Flop journals. So I watched this from start to finish!! Yes I got confused but I kept watching and made 3 journals. Then as I was looking for envelopes guess what I found 2 more in my envelope box win-win!! So fun to watch your videos and laugh along with you!! 🤣❤

One of the good things about CZcams is I can stop, rewind and watch again and again until I get it straight in my head. And it took me a good few times before I had my prototype, which I can now use when I want to make more after the 9 I made this morning. Thanks for a great tutorial Leslie 💗

My dear Leslie, well, I actually made a flip flop following the instructions from the first video that you posted a while back on constructing these beauties. I must say it was challenging for me but I was determined to succeed. In the end, it took its own course regarding which way it wanted to flip and flop. I just went with flow, I’m sure you understand what I am trying to say here 😊 Anyways, I am now at the fun part.
Of course, mine will not be like yours regarding content. Mine is becoming an art journal, with some of my own work and artists work that I love and that inspires me. You inspire me 💕 Thank you for sharing this with us. 🙏 PS it’s a cold Winter’s morning here in Tasmania and I am sitting in front of the column heater, with my toast and coffee whilst watching your videos. xx
I love when a journal chooses its own path, naturally 💗 they don't always behave as we have planned because each journal has its own distinct personality. That's one thing I love the most about creating these beautiful journals. I feel as though I'm simply the vessel and I love that 💗

Oh wow. I’m exhausted, have a headache coming on and feel like I was on an out of control train. Thank goodness that train didn’t crash. I now have a numbered and arrow drawn template I am able to reference when I’m ready to take this project on. The project looked fun enough that the out of control train ride was worth it….I think.😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😂😭

Oooo so much fun I had - I started digging out envelopes and had them all over trying to get the right size and ones with flaps still on them and then got a base all put together and then started picking out papers to collage with...sigh. It's gonna be so pretty I can tell already! Can't wait to craft with you more on this project! :) I still want a Leslie original though so don't remove me from the waiting list!! ;D Hugs!!!

Oh my goodness. Not sure I got it exactly. I might try one with three envelopes first!! Do you reinforce the gluing with some other type glue? I've not had luck with glue sticks. Your video was fun!!
