Yeah, moshing, mosh pits, "the wall of death" it's just an aggressive looking form of expressive dance associated with metal, not rap & not fighting. I'm kinda short & thin, but used to love pushing & being pushed at my local music venue (before they sadly knocked it down to make way for new housing...) & bigger guys would always offer a hand to help me up. Joel needs to work on his subculture references lol.

I freaking love Post Malones voice. I also like that he used a name generator to come up with his name. It just suits him to a T. Seeing him live was great. I've been going to see live shows since I was 5 years old because I grew up in a musical family and my dad started me out right by seeing Journey, The Police, The Smith's, Prince, Michael Jackson and so many more. Fleetwood Mac was epic and seeing Stevie Nicks in the 80's was one of the best shows along with Depeche Mode and The Cure. I've had a lifetime of fun at the young age of 48 and I've seen tickets go from 20 bucks to 1000's in a few short years. It really shouldn't cost an arm and a leg to see a live show but the prices keep going up and up and for those of us who's bought the album, tape, cd and then the downloads really get screwed with going to see live shows with the cost. When you use to could go to a concert every night during the summer without breaking the bank to now signing over a kidney is the ultimate way to kill music for the average person who's given so much time and money throughout their life to their favorite bands or singer.
The weeknd had a great show with lightning that was next level for the starboy album vrs his trilogy album where it was all singing and more personal.

My favorite was at a U2 concert. Bono sat a young woman with a sign. He pulled her up and she danced to Mysterious Ways. After the song, the Edge had noticed that her sigh said I Play Guitar. He gave her one of his guitars and she played lead on In God’s Country - a song they had not performed in over a decade. She killed it and it looked like she was reminding Bono how to sing it. A beautiful moment.

Jamie Grace is a fantastic Christian singer. She also has tourette's syndrome and she works really hard to keep it under control so she can still perform. Her music is more for preteen girls but still really good.
I heard some of her songs when I was younger (ie: 12) and had no clue she had tourettes!

Ik it's long, sorry... I sometimes also wish that he would expand on genres (because it does become quite repetetive), but at the same time, I feel like Joel really knows too little to talk about some genres. He is our pop guy and that's more than ok. He said it himself in few videos that he doesn't really feel that qualified to talk about other genres (even tho he does from time to time). It's kinda like in that video of "Actors that can sing", where editors picked up for Gosling and Phoenix clips where they were singing in roles, in movies, not with their actual singing voices and Joel just went by what he saw, because he didn't know that Gosling for example released a whole album under "Dead Man's Bones", where he's singing as himself instead of a character (and the character in "Lars" was delayed in his mental development too, so how on earth would that be any representation of his actual singing skills). Same way a lot of people were kinda annoyed at him for cringing over French national anthem's lyrics, because the editors didn't give him any side notes about it, so he didn't know that it was basically a battle song. I saw A LOT of annoyed comment. I guess he consciously picks mostly pop related subject, because that's the area that he knows the most. And let's face it, it would really have to be some bad, obscure pop for him to pick country over it :P

The other members being super cool decided to treat that as an impromptu audition anyhow he impressed them enough for them to make him their drummer full time.
