Adam Sandler is good at striking a good balance between comedy and heartfelt moments.
Even in the longest yard(which seemed like a fun movie that a bunch of friends got together to make😁) had me cracking up until they killed Chris Rock and then Sandler and the team got serious and wanted to F the warden up. It got real personal real quick. So I definitely agree he does that well!!

So, it's really impressive to see those three in the same room having any sort of conversation that we can understand.

I relate to this movie because the short-term memory problem from 1982-1991. And thankfully it wasn't a ten second memory loop. Yeah and surpassingly you can drive a car/work. I was told everything I learned before the accidentally was perfect/useful. THANKS for this video.
This was the on demand movie in my room recovering from neurosurgery; and I literally WAS 10 second Tom (it was really~45 minutes and I watched it probably 50 times because I kept forgetting the last 5-10 minutes😂)

@@Nnm26 had neural scar excisions done 7 years after my accident (the way it'd healed it had given me a seizure disorder. Made it seizure free from 9/2013-the start of Covid. I actually have a Dr's "no really he can't wear masks" note because I dropped in the store buying groceries about a week into it all. But it's a lot better than the 80-100 /wk beforehand.

This movie.... I was recovering from neurosurgery in 2013 and this was one of the few movie choices to watch in my room afterwards. The first time I saw "10 second Tom" at the time I was ~45 minute Tom IRL😂 and I probably watched it close to 50 times because I kept forgetting the last 5-10 minutes of it.
This movie makes me cry every time I watch it. I love it.

I cant beleive you haven't seen 50 first dates. It's a classic, I have seen a lot and it never bores me.

One of my go-to movies for about 25 years. I hope the ladies like it as much as I do. I didn't expect the Sandler/Barrymore chemistry to be so good but it really adds to the likeability of the whole film. Edit: Plus it was my intro to Iz. So for that alone I'll always love it.

There is the guy in the UK that is exactly like 10 second Tom. His name is Clive Wearing and he forgets everything every 15-30 secs. It's not amusing though and he feels like he is dead when asked if living with his condition is hard. "No. It's exactly the same as being dead, which is not difficult, is it? To be dead is easy. You don't do anything at all. You can't do anything, when you are dead. It's been the same. Exactly." He got an infection from a herpes virus in his spinal cord and it caused him to not be able to make any new memories. There is a really good video on here if you ever want to check it out.
Adam and Drew are teamed up again in the movie "Blended". It is a cute movie and an under rated Rom-Com.
Yes Blended is definitely worth it (Terry Crews is GREAT in it too)

I am a avid movie goer. Of all the movies i have seen in my 51 years, this one gives me the best feels and vibes. I feel the same every time i watch it.
This movie is one of my favorites it’s funny and heat felt I like the last scene in Alaska when she wakes up on the house boat

Another great Drew Barrymoore movie is called 'Ever After' which is an adaptation of the Cinderella story.
Not sure if you recognized the brother is Sam - Frodo's friend that saved him in Lord of the Rings
Her car is literally called The Thing. It's more or less a Volkswagen Beetle with a different body and off-road suspension.
He and Drew were in another movie called "Blended".
Underrated in my opinion. I often feel like I'm the only one who liked it.
15:02 she said her Grandfather. 20:31 when he’s talking about how they’re funded it’s a reference to another movie called “Tommy Boy” where they’re in Sandusky, Ohio and run a automotive parts plant named Callahan Auto. 26:02 we used to go to the park these walruses were at every year when my daughter was little. We were in the park when they filmed some of the scenes cause we weren’t able to see the walruses during a certain time.
You should also check these two out in "Blended" from 2014. They're always great together.

Sandler and Berrymore did a move called Blended, it's underrated. I recommend it.

I love this movie a lot: have seen it shortly after having received the MultipleSclerosis-diagnosis (which happened exactly 20 years ago). This movie helped me to see, that one can exist even with almost zero memory.
I was lucky enough to live close to "Sea Life Park" and this scenery is very familiar to me, so it holds a special place for me.
I worked security for a temporary assignment that my employer had there. It was really a spiritual experience!
