Hi, it’s never a bad idea to use a surface marker buoy although at low tide at Sheringham you are unlikely to see any boats but just in case the lifeboat gets called out on an emergency or a jetskier turns up it’s a good idea to have one if you are planning on swimming out more than 50m from the beach.
