Perhaps try Altaros slugs, superior BC 0.21 & energy retention. Even at a slow 980fps they retain over 12ftlb at 1 mile. 500yds being 56ftlb, 26mil hold for a 49.6gr 😁 the problem being sponsored is that sometimes you feel obligated to the supplier. 😄 Happy New year

I use riton7 3×18 and zan 21gn slugs great combination
There’s a guy on CZcams been smacking 200 300 400 and I think 500 yard targets with ease “at least it seems to me with ease” with the panthera his channels called “my airgun range”
Yep, it should be straight forward with the correct projectile & form. I don't think either rifles were set-up that well to be honest

@@precisionairgunninghunting6265 I think you’re right on that you would think Boids would of at least been on since he’s a decent shooter in prs from the little I know I know his daughters pretty damn good with her fx impact so idk strange he was all over the place but hey he was in the general area so maybe just larger targets would of been more suitable in this particular challenge..

We’ll confirm our dope for 500, but I don’t think you understand what a challenge 1 MOA at 500 is unless you’re regularly shooting it in your “backyard” range. And that certainly doesn’t mean our rifles weren’t set up right 😂.
Boyd holds what is locally known as the Juicebox challenge each year, which is essentially the 300 yard MOA shot. The best 22LR shooters in the state even struggle with that one (much less with an airgun), yet we’ll get comments like this on CZcams of people thinking this is easy 🤓.
