why would she get tired of singing her songs? they are beautiful and inspirational...plus she sang 800+ songs even her non hits are beautiful...id rather hear her sing than most of the current singers today who i cant barely understand what they are singing unless i google the lyrics., plus strained voice all over...unlike olivia's voice you can up the volume and will still play it over and over again for its clarity and range.
God she is beautiful. Always loved her since a wee gal through the 70’s to present. Such inspiration and she stayed positive and fit regardless of cancer. The love and happiness she gave and surrounded herself with was a blessing. She really cared. May God rest her soul xxx

Why does no one ever talk about her career before or after Grease, yes Grease was good, but what about all her other albums
IMO, as far as the US goes, after "Twist Of Fate" in 1984 she dropped off the US charts as far as hits. Still from 1971 to 1984 was a long streak of being very popular.
I couldn't agree with you more. Grease is a great movie, but she has done so much more as far as music is concerned. Xanadu, for example, is basically popular all over the world; yet, here in the Stares, it was considered a floppy. The music ( soundtrack ) is great, and no one raves about it. Forever, Livvy
Yeah all those country pop hits are a huge part of her legacy. I guess most of the general public were introduced to her through Grease.

She is legend. I first heard her in the early 70's because she dueted with John Denver(my favorite as a kid) in a song called Fly Away. She had a sweet voice that always sounded genuine. Few performers really can sell the song(Sinatra being the best) and ONJ is definitely in that class.

Finally got to see her in Bossier City and got my picture with her which I will treasure for the rest of my life, glad she is not tired of singing because I am not tired of her voice, it touches my soul, I think she may be an angel.

If you think it's sad being older, you're going to be in for a very rude awakening because age is coming to you sooner than you think, whether you like it or not. Youth is only a small part of our life. Most of our life is spent beyond youth. So it would be wise for you to assess your priorities and what matters in life. Find the substance. If you think looking young and being young is the key to happiness, then you're going to spend most of your life being sad because most of your life you will NOT be young.
That said, I think Olivia Newton John looks fantastic!

They made a Mistake. She didn't have Ten Number Ones, she had Five one of which of course was Physical that was at Number One for 10 Weeks.
more they fudged it a little - she also had a few that made #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart that may have stalled at 5 or 10 in the top 40 chart.
